I am so very disappointed in this place. After waiting for weeks for them to open, and seeing lines for Crumbl Cookies in my area, I decided to order online, the day before picking up.When I went to pick up my order, there was a sign that said temporarily closed. But my online order still allowed me to press the "I am here" button and got instructions to wait. There were people working in the store but the door was locked. So after calling I was told they had problems and had closed 2 hours earlier, and I should be getting reimbursed. No notification was sent, even though I had ordered 24 hours in advance of pick up time. Nothing posted on the website. No one even came to the door to let us know what was going on ... others were waiting too. And 3 days earlier I had gone to the store and saw the same sign ... so they knew about their problems long before I had ordered. As expensive as gas is, I wasted money with nothing to show for it. I know it's only cookies... but it's the principle of not being valued as a customer... who already paid for the product. Would it have been so difficult to notify those who already paid? I don't feel like I want to support a business that doesn't care about their customers. If I could give zero stars I would. And please don't tell me to be contacting anybody else. It is on you now to show how you value your customers if you want to keep them. For others who may encounter problems ... So Fun Yogurt is right across...
Read moreI had heard this place was excellent so I drove out of my way to try them. The cookies WERE delicious...but perhaps overpriced and overrated. Starting with the basics, the chocolate chip cookies were very, very good, but perhaps because they are common favorites in most places, they're not noticably better than in other bakeries. The exotic cookie selections are more interesting, but since this was our first trip there, it was a bit of a hit-or-miss proposition. In the store I visited, they only offered six choices, which kind of surprised me. I assumed there would be more. Everyone has their preferences, so it's logical that you will like some better than others. I found the "buy more, pay less" policy to be annoying, especially since we were looking to try just a couple of different (expensive) cookies for the three of us. We purchased four to get the better price and so we could try a few of their varieties...which cost us around $15. I thought the little cookies they had would have been a better option for a snack, but alas, they said that smaller size was just for catering parties. Funny thing, it occured to me that they had more rules than cookies. LOL. Don't get me wrong, they were really good cookies, and the fresh-baked while you wait aspect was very appealing...but this is not someplace I will go on a...
Read moreI've heard a lot about these places and decided to give it a try as I was nearby today. There is ample parking all around the building. The storefront is very minimal and clean and bright, and the staff I encountered were very polite.
The size and presentation of the cookies is excellent. She opened the box in front of me to confirm my choices, and they were nice and warm.
Coconut cake- 10/10, best of the bunch, an excellent balance of frosting and cake and the coconut topping gave it almost a sprinkle texture.
Pineapple upside down cake - 9/10 the flavor is excellent on this one, I just didn't like how the pineapple kept sliding off the cookie because the sauce was warm.
White chocolate macadamia - 6/10 I had to try this even though I'm not a huge fan of white chocolate because it looked amazing. It's totally full of chips, and is probably best eaten while warm, I don't think I'd eat it otherwise.
Mill Chocolate chip 3/10 super disappointed in this one, it tasted more like chocolate flavored sugar chips. I'm a huge chocoholic and am glad I didn't get more of these.
I would go again depending on their flavors, so far the cakes seem more worth the high cost but there is a strong residual basic sugar aftertaste...
