McDonald's — Restaurant in Lower Oxford Township

This McDonald's either needs to be shut down or they need to fire and rehire, starting with the manager. Last week was the last time we will frequent this McDonalds. They messed up our oder 3 times. They only gave us 1 out of 3 fry orders. My daughter's double hamburger with extra pickles she ordered only had 1 burger and 2 pickles. My husband went to counter to get the order fixed and wound up screaming "hey" to get someone's attention that worked there after being ignored for 5 minutes. My husband also did that because a lady, at the same time, came in after receiving her order from the drive through because it was wrong. They were now ignoring 2 people standing at the counter. That part of the order gets corrected and my husband sits down to eat and drink his coffee. He opens the lid and there is creamer in the coffee. He ordered black coffee with sugar. He goes back up to the counter, and the manager doesn't understand why my husband doesn't want creamer in his coffee. My husband shows her the receipt and she can't read it. She still doesn't understand that the receipt says black coffee with sugar and no creamer. Came to get lunch for the family. Kept getting rushed by the drive thru ordering employee with “ anything else” several times, as if I wasn’t even welcome here and seem to be inconveniencing him. Being rushed so much made me even forget to order something for myself. Couldn’t get a receipt after paying as the machine apparently isn’t working. I was given a big bag with food in it and the chocolate milk for the happy meal. I got home and the food for the happy meal wasn’t even in the bag so I had to come all the way back to get the happy meal box. On top of all that, we were here last weekend, and the ice cream machine wasn’t working. Yet again today the ice cream machine is not working. Just enforcing the McDonald’s stereotype that the ice cream machine never works apparently anywhere. We come to visit our brother in this town because we live down in Baltimore County and our McDonald’s are terrible down there. So either we are cursed or the quality control/customer satisfaction just doesn’t exist within the McDonalds...

On 06/26/2025 at between 11pm and 11:30pm, I visited this location. I ordered my food via Drive-Thru. I was asked to pull my car up to the last window because they were waiting on nuggets. We didn’t have any issue until the woman at the window yelled, “Here’s your food!” She then tossed the bag out of the window at my nephew and the bag fell on the floor with some of the contents being spilled on the ground. The woman had immediately shut the window after she tossed the food. She did not apologize. She did not offer to make things right. Just slammed the window closed. I didn’t catch if she was a manager or not, but she definitely needs a refresher course on customer service. We didn’t do anything to deserve our food to be tossed and fall on the ground.
