Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Lower Paxton Township

Rita's Italian Ice is cool and refreshing, and delicious! For those of us with lactose intolerance it's a wonderful treat that unlike ice cream won't send us running for the nearest bathroom. They do have custard, too, for the ice cream fans. And they always have at least one sugar-free flavor on the menu. The menu of flavors changes daily, but usually there are many to pick from. Ordered a concrete today around 4:30 and when we received it, it looked nothing like the examples on the signs. When I questioned whether we received the correct order, the young woman replied, yes, rolled her eyes, and gave a flip of her hand. Concrete not worth the cost and don’t expect it to look anything like photos, very bland. Also, ordered a chocolate soft serve with gummy bears and got chocolate soft serve with sprinkles. When pointed out we ordered gummy bears and not sprinkles, young man whipped the dish into the trash in front of us and provided proper order. We won’t be returning with attitude...

Stopped by tonight at 8:45pm website, said open till 9 pm. Two girls in the restocking refused to wait on any customs. They even looked at the customs and just kept doing what they were doing. Could care less about me or any other customs. They could have at least told us we closed early. I would not recommend this location at all.
