Was excited as a crest resident to check out the new outside bar. Went with a few friends. Right off the bat recognized a bartender from the fall that we did t have a great experience with but oh well it’s fine . Having a good time with one of the other professional bartenders , great atmosphere, complimented the area. Unfortunately the same bartender who was there in the fall was also serving the bar outside. When a request for a drink was asked she responded “stopped serving that in high school”. Ok we are late 40’s but a no we don’t have that would have sufficed, especially since she was in her 20’s. Let it go , enjoying the new place , a request for music to her was responded with another snarky comment . At that point I said that was rude and not the 1st time u have been rude- followed by her totally breaking down, crying and causing a scene and telling us we all had to leave. Mind u the professional bartender is dumbfounded and embarrassed at what is happening as she yellls at us this is her family’s bar.. a guy comes out and asks what happened. As I begin to explain I m not sure he says don’t raise your hand to me. ???I respond by saying what are u talking about ? He says ur being aggressive . I was not , patrons there were dumbfounded as I was . They tried to clear the bar of all our prepaid drinks and money and told us to leave. Cooler heads prevailed but just barely. I’m still confused as to what happened, but would recommend another position for this person . Unfortunately we will not be back and telll everyone about experience. Kuddos to the other bartender who during all of this was apologetic and Professional . I would advise everyone to take your business elsewhere To enjoy a fun , unaggressive and professional...
Read moreMy family and I went to Crest tavern tonight and it was the worst. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes and when we got seated we’re told we couldn’t sit together because we had seven people, fine no problem. After we ordered our food another table was seated on the other side of the restaurant and they had 7 people (same amount as us but we had 3 children, they had 7 adults) the hostess made arrangements for the other group ( pulled a table up at the end of the booth for everyone to sit comfortably together). I mentioned something to the hostess who was annoyed from the second we walked in and told us she would get the manager. The manager, hostess and bartender stood in the corner of the bar talking about the situation but doesn’t come over for fifteen minutes. Our food came out and we told them we no longer wanted it and wanted to pay for what was ordered and the manager came running over asking us what was wrong as if he didn’t already know the situation. The manager argued with us but then told us he would give us our check and let us leave . I will never come back to this establishment the employees are the worst. At the end of the day we spent money at the bar and bought shirts with the bars name on them that we will never wear. Screw...

I recently dined at Crest Tavern and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt off, starting with the hostess who greeted us with an unenthusiastic demeanor. It was as if she was less than thrilled to see customers, which set a negative tone for the evening.
As for the food, it was a real letdown. My son ordered a plain burger, and it was unevenly cooked—some parts were overdone while others were barely cooked. It’s hard to understand how a simple burger could go so wrong.
I opted for the shrimp scampi, hoping for a comforting dish, but what I received was a soupy, watery mess. The shrimp were overshadowed by an overwhelming amount of sauce that lacked flavor and consistency. It felt more like a poorly executed soup than a hearty pasta dish.
Overall, the lack of attention to detail in both the food and service was disappointing. I had high hopes for a nice dining experience, but this visit left much to be desired. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this restaurant based on...
