Star Beach Bar is a bar situated right on the sand in Wildwood Crest, and boasts palm trees, lounge areas, and a small menu of cocktails and food.

We attempted to park in the adjacent lot, but were told it was for resort guests only (signs indicate public parking). The employee who approached our car, and confirmed we were visiting the beach bar, told us we could park a few blocks away or valet for $10. We chose valet. Unfortunately, upon leaving we found out they don’t truly offer valet for the beach bar, and we had to walk a few blocks to the lobby of the resort to get our car back. On the way there we passed public parking with meters. They wound up reimbursing, but this was definitely not a great way to handle guests.

The bar is situated in an awesome spot which provides views of the dunes and water. The lounges situated around firepits and picnic tables offer ample seating. We grabbed a picnic table next to the cornhole and ordered a few drinks. The cocktails lacked quality and consistency; the first margarita had no salt rim, the second had salt and way too much sour mix.

Ultimately, this spot is unique in that the vibe puts you on a pristine stretch of beach with drinks, music, and a view. However, beyond the location...the execution on this concept is definitely below standard. I’d...

Very disappointed in this place. We were excited to go here but it's way over priced and service is slow. We rented a Cabana for 8 of us. The drinks were decent, watered down but fine. Ordered appetizers: "boneless chicken wings" = 4 chicken fingers. Loaded fries = MAYBE 15 fries in the container. Ordered 2 chicken Caesar wraps = came out with no dressing on them. Ordered 2 burgers = didn't have the correct toppings and when we asked about it they said they didn't have them (pickles or cheese, LISTED on the MENU). We had two people in our party with Gluten allergies - nothing was gluten free unless they got a burger with no bun, they were told the fries were gluten free HOWEVER they were fried in the same oil as other things BUT the fries were also breaded so they definitely were NOT gluten free. Around 9:15pm (we had the Cabana until 10pm), our server came over and asked if we wanted to close our tab. The server was nice but only came to our Cabana maximum 4 times in 3 hours, not including the other server who brought us our food....

Avoid Star Beach Bar in Wildwood, NJ, at all costs! This place is an absolute rip-off with terrible prices and horrendous food. I ordered what was supposed to be a wood-fired pizza, and what I got was an abomination. For $17, I received a pathetic, tiny portion that looked and tasted worse than a cheap frozen pizza. Honestly, Tony's frozen pizza has better flavor than this so-called "wood-fired" disaster. The pizza was bland, overcooked, and utterly disappointing.

The audacity to charge such high prices for such low-quality food is infuriating. This place is a complete joke and an insult to anyone who appreciates decent food. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Star Beach Bar is not worth your time or money.

Only thing that is good is the view and atmosphere. The service was good but the food was just downright awful. Go there for some drinks and stay away...

Beach bar behind Icona Diamond Beach Resort with great beach views and palm trees is probably the only good feature of this location. Service was good too, but, the drinks were not good at all. I generally rather not post a bad review, but, I felt I had to with this location as it could easily be corrected with better drinks. We ordered Pina Coladas made with barely any alcohol and were very bland with no flavor. The texture was similar to a Rita’s Italian ice without the flavor. I did not notify the bar that it was bad as for the price ($10/each) and location the drinks should be at least ok. This is our second visit to this location and our first was slightly better but still not at par where a drink on the beach behind such a prestigious resort should be. Would not recommend this location.
