Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Lubbock

Let's start with the service. Our waiter was a young man that tried his best. However, he was not on top of his tables and left us waiting and having to ask several times about our orders. He also kept forgetting to bring things we asked for several times..i.e. straws, sweetner.. The first plate came out but nothing was said about the 2nd order. I once again had to stop the waiter and ask after 8 minutes had passed from the 1st order coming out. Oh he said, we took your order to the wrong table so we are re-making it now. Again I had to probe to get updates. The 1st order was chicken wings! You cannot mess up wings, but ohhh boy they were not good. They were stiff, lacked moisture and dry. I cook ALOT and for ALOT of people, so I have knowledge of cooking. These were frozen wings put into hot grease, that is how meat comes out dried to the bone! Then finally the burger arrived (45 minutes sitting with no food)! It was under-wellming! No flavor, no seasoning, dry and on a (right out the bag) bun, no toasting or anything. Just a plain walmart patty on a plain bun. Watching from our table we watched the young female bartender touching her hair, face, ears, tucking hair behind her ears, touching glasses, ice, drink machines, bottles, pours and not once in almost 2 hours, did we see her wash her hands and rinse them or wipe them. I am OCD when it comes to cleaniness especially in a food environment. The atmosphere is a sports bar feeling, great views of the TV's, not loud or over crowed and the setup and spacing are good! The food here reminds me of quick bar foods, not the best quality cuts and more like a TV dinner, warm and eat. It's like a knock-off Applebees, but really knocked-off! If I had to recommend a place that was close by to them for a dinner date, I would NOT recommend this place at all! The plus is the manager did comp the burger, but I was not able to eat it!...

Our first two visits to this restaurant and bar were very good. The food was average to above average and the beer options on tap were great. We decided to make O’brady’s our neighbourhood bar and eat their once a week. HOWEVER, our third visit was a disaster! The restaurant was busier than usual. The waitress tried to seat us at a booth that had been pushed in to the point that it was impossible to squeeze in. Even my son who was visiting the restaurant for the first time could not sit without his chin on the table. None of us are overweight either. We were then pointed to another table. That table had been pushed in to a corner to allow a large party of guest to sit together. To get to the table one of us would have had to climb over the table that the group were sitting at to get to their chair. There was a table near the bar set up for four people but we were not offered that. At this point we decided to leave. That did not appear to bother the waitress. She even smirked to the next customer when we left. I must add that up until that point where we were walking out, we had been pleasant and understanding.We could not believe that we were treated this way.What a shame that we had such an awful experience. We may try it one more time, if it is no better we will be forced to find another neighbourhood bar in the area. Shame on the waitress who worked that evening...

I haven't been back for months because of a not just bad but horrible service. 30+min to get a drink after everyone around you has been taken care of. Our food is cold and not the right food. When I asked about it, she took my plate around the corner to the kitchen and then brought it back. (I was watching), and I don't know what was done to it, but I didn't eat it. I got up to ask the bar for a glass of water because I was still waiting for my drink. I didn't get water there either, so we waited a little while longer. By that time, we had been there with food we didn't order and nothing to drink for over 1 hour. Watching others get service. I believe we gave more than enough time to get it right. So then we left. We went to Cujos and they treated us very, very well. I am saying all that to say. We tried YOU again yesterday. We got service at the bar, and she did very well . She was busy but acknowledged us and served us in a timely manner. I don't expect unrealistic service, but acknowledgment and customer service go a long way. The food and...
