I arrived in the OfficeMax location to get 36 things laminated. Made my way to the aisle with laminating products did some looking and decide to make my way to the service center to see if I might get some help by way of the OfficeMax employees. I was past by several employees who made there way back and forth from behind the counter of the service center as if I was invisible. Matter fact one girl past me twice. A gentlemen past me up went to talk to someone in the printing services center and said to the service center employee if you need me I will be in the back and past me up as well. Finally I went over to the front regrster and ask for a manager's business card and the 4 employees standing around doing nothing radio several times to the manager for a business card and you guest it never showed up to the front. Mean while there was a 70 year old man who had come in to pick up a case of printing paper he had order and they had the nerve to send him to the back of the store with no employee escort to find his paper and he came back saying he could not find his case of paper. What HAPPEN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICEMAX? What HAPPEN TO the common courtesy for our senior citizens of the Lubbick community. I plan to file a complaint with corporate because how this store is ran it my complaint wouldn't make it past the manager who is still trying to find there way back from the back of the store. To say the least I left the store with the 4 employees up front still never asking me how they could help...

First, I left the following review for an external drive in their website: “I bought this item in February of 2012 to store all the pictures I need to take for work...it basically stays in my office and I don't move it around at all. 3 weeks ago it stopped working: when I plug it to the computer I can tell that the drive starts, but the light is not turning on and the drive is not recognize by the computer. Checked online at Hitachi for support and it tells me, after entering the serial number, that the warranty expired on June 2012 (3 months ago.....Office max's website indicates is 1 year). Took it to Office max and they tell me they only cover drives for 14 days after purchase......Customer "service" in Lubbock is horrible. Don't bother buying this drive or at office max you are wasting your money!”
2 weeks later I'm comparing similar items to replace my external hard drive, and to my surprise, I noticed that the review I wrote was deleted from their website, effectively preventing future customers to decide if they want to purchase this defective product or not. If you want to edit it that is one thing, but you should keep the 1 star negative feedback for the product as it doesn't work! If I take the time to write this information to advise others of the defective product and the potential problems with Hitachi's and OfficeMax customer service, then you should respect it and don't delete it just because they can! Don't buy...
Read morePurchased a real space 2-Drawer Lateral File (Pelingo Collection). Made in Vietnam and purchased at Office Depot. We opened the box, separated the supplies as packaged and began to assemble. The instructions/illustrations were very poorly written, for example, the dowel pins that were to be pushed into the pre-drilled holes would go all the way in so we had to just guess how much of the dowel pin should remain exposed. The holes to attach the Cam bolts to one of the panels, as shown in the instructions/illustrations did not exist and the instructions/illustrations clearly warned against using a power drill. The illustrations do not match what we see with the various parts. After spending several hours trying to decipher the instruction, work around pieces that did not line up correctly and guess at the length of dowel pins to be left exposed, we are considering this “lesson learned” and will not be buying anything else from...
