The Waitress, Mayra was AMAZING!! Friendly, personable, seemed to know all the regulars... Talked with everyone, attentive, kind and caring. The owner, Murdock (the husband) is loud and uprupt, yelling at everyone...from the staff to the sweet couple who he forced to move to a different table. The owner, Ellie (the wife) is TERRIBLE!! Has no business in the service industry, whatsoever. She goes to the cleaning closet, wipes the counter...to the back for change...carries the bank money bag around the restaurant under her arm... handles money at the register... then, handles food without washing her hands! Then, she kept smearing/wiping her hand across her wet nose while taking money from people at the register! She does not greet or speak to anyone... dismissive... won't look a person in the eyes or face or acknowledge them when spoken to... just looks around and tries to ignore the person speaking to her. She added 3 extra RANDOM fees to a simple burrito order and ran my credit card before telling me she was adding fees. Then, she refused to give me a receipt-- I had to demand and insist on getting a receipt after she ran my credit card while I stood in front of her at the register. I paid 30% in made up "fees"... she charged for water... Charged for lemon and charged for using a credit card. She even added a "to go" fee for my water that I was already charged for, even though I dined in. I should report her for theft or robbery! Especially for adding the fees AFTER I gave her my card for payment and refusing to provide a receipt for the charges. Mayra absolutely deserved the tip that I gave her personally, for great service...but, I should demand all money back from the horrible owner, Ellie. This was my first time here...I had originally planned on returning... The owners should retire and let their Son run the restaurant, instead of keeping him on the grill--the owners were THE ONLY ONES who ruined the dining experience. Read moreFood was better than before. I ordered chilli cheese fries for my son who has downs. We took the food home and we split the fries. I was eating and I chewing I thought it was a hard French fry sometimes items get over cooked so I kept chewing didnt think anything of it my teeth started throbbing a lil so I spit the food a and a (nut) off a screw (if that’s what you call it) was in my food. I called restaurant and asked did they lose something and told them what it was told me that they was just looking for it and couldn’t find it and asked if I would bring the object back and I took it back the next day. I have a couple of teeth now that are loose and haven’t been able to eat on that side for 3 weeks now and every time I call the restaurant they talk very harsh to me I spoke with John sons owner and still no response back. I filed a BBB report to help with dentist bill no response. Now I’m about to be out of pocket with my own money for something they could have handled and tooth pain hurts. I asked for an incident report they just said they don’t do that and acted like they didn’t know what it was I was talking about. For starters our server was slow and lazy, she seemed lost and didn't know where to go or who to take care of next.she did not come to work ready.. My husband had to get up to get a refill of his coffee from the ONLY server who was actually helpful. Then they forgot my plate(western omelet)and on top of that, it didn't taste to great, my toast wasn't toasted. It looked as if they just slapped some butter on it. I had whole chuncks of bell pepper in my omelet. Should've just gave me a bell pepper on the side🫑 in that case.And my hash brown was only cooked on one side.In the end I had to get a whole different plate(beef enchilada plate)because the quality wasn't great. The manager was not helpful AT ALL! And our server was her daughter, so no wonder, she had no motivation...
