I came for an early lunch, around 11:15. The lobby was clean & neat, so I anticipated a good meal, as I had had here before. I was wrong. Let me recount what went wrong. You were out of medium cups. THIS IS A FAILURE ON THE PART OF MANAGEMENT. I was told my choices were a huge cup or a tiny cup. I didn't feel like I should have to pay an extra 40 cents for management's failure-it felt like a bait & switch. You were out of ice, and it took several minutes to get any. To tell the truth, I've worked fast food & it looked like maybe night shift didn't finish their prep & the opening crew was having to rush around a bit to make up the slack. I get that. Stuff happens, particularly in fast food. My rice and all my food was cold. All of it. Even the crab Rangoon, which is usually too hot to eat. You've been open 15 minutes, guys. I'm not sure how this could possibly happen. My black pepper steak had no less than 11 inedible stem pieces in it. This is a corporate failure. I understand cost-cutting, but I would be happy with a smaller portion that was edible. My stomach isn't made full by the appearance of a large serving.
Now, so you are not despondent, let me point out what you did right. The whole store was neat & clean, including the restrooms. There were no fingerprints on glass surfaces, and I saw people actively cleaning. You offer a military discount. Yeah! The black pepper steak (except for the inedible bits) was delicious. It would have been better hot.
So, on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, I give this restaurant the following ratings: Quality: 3-You missed the mark a lot of times. Service: 5-Service must extend past the hello at the door. Cleanliness:10 Value: 4, for all the reasons stated above. So, will I eat here...
Read moreThis Panda Express location is horrible. I used to eat at Panda Express often. But they went under new management a couple of years ago... and it has never been the same. It has really gone down hill. I’ve purchased food there 13 times in the last year and EVERY SINGLE time I have ordered food it has not been fresh... at all! Chicken has been sitting out so long (hours, it seems) to the point that it is tough, dried out and hard on the edges. Chicken has black Burn marks on the bottom of the pieces from it sitting in warmers for so long. Along with tiny little black pieces of burn all throughout the entree. Zucchini... shriveled and brown... mush. I’m VERY disappointed to know that they are STILL serving food like this. I’ve gone back several times always thinking that “maybe... they are no longer serving old food like this” but now... I’ve just given up. This has been my experience over the last couple of years. Totally unacceptable that they continue to serve food like this all because they are too cheap to dump out food that has CLEARLY been sitting out way too long. I hope others who have this experience will report this as well...because they should not be in business if this is the kind of customer service they provide. TOTALLY unacceptable. The fried rice had hard chunks in it the 3rd to last time we went. The 2nd to last time we went they were out of chicken and my husband and father ordered it being told there was a 2 minute wait. 25 minutes later they went up to ask about it and they served them the last few pieces they had that were cold and not good. This last time we placed an online order and showed up 3 minutes later than it said it would be ready. We went up and asked about it and they said they would start it. They then turned around and helped over 10 other guest that walked in after us and served them their food. Half in Togo and half for seating even though no one asked for Togo or for there. We went up and asked again and they said they were about to start them. We waited another 15ish minutes and finally got our food.
