Undeserving of even the one star but I have to leave one to leave this review. I moved from Florida to New Mexico and the closest Whataburger is this location in Lubbock, Texas store number 940 located at 6414 82nd Street Lubbock, Texas 79424. So I drove nearly two hours to get to this location seeing as that this is the nearest one to my house to make an order. I went there and placed a almost $40.00 order which included 2 number 3's large and a salad. Everything was untouched till I got back to my house in New Mexico. When I go through the bags I've noticed that it seems that I have a complete different order. The burgers were almost right and the salad was completely wrong. I ordered the newest salad which is the Buffalo Ranch salad with grilled chicken. The salad I got was completely wrong with something breaded not sure what it was so that went directly into the garbage. I called and spoke with Chris Wilby who claims he is the "manager" and he did tell me that it was no problem that I can go back so that they can fix it. I than explained to him that I do not live 5 minutes away that i live 2 hours away and that i would have to drive 4 hours because of a mistake done by them. I asked for a refund and he told me that he can not do that all he can do is have me go back to make the order right. It will come out more expensive on my end to drive way out there and back to my house for an order of almost $40.00 when i spend more than that on gas to get out there and back to my home. Makes absolutely no sense at all and the people at Corporate Office agree with me. I did speak with Liberty D. which is the girl at the window when I pulled up to pay. She also brought my food out to me after they've had me sitting there waiting for a while to bring me my food. She did agree that my order was wrong and apologized but since she is a regular employee there is nothing she can do. The guy that took my order is un-named because they did not want to give me his name but he might have gotten my order wrong seeing as that he was rushing me through my order to finish up with me. The simple and right thing to do was to refund me back, that would have saved a call to Corporate Office and this review. But I only treat people accordingly and am fair with any review I leave people and I'm being generous with leaving them one star. I will never ever return to this location even if I'm in the area and I certainly do not recommend this location to anyone. Find another location where you will be treated right, with respect and with getting your order correct. I've already called Corporate and so now I guess I play the waiting game till this is properly addressed. Read moreCame here on a Friday evening. The drive thru was pretty backed up, so I decided to go inside to order carry out.
A young girl named Mylo came in from taking someone their order outside. I was the ONLY one at the counter & she walked straight behind the counter & straight past me.
Another young kid named Elijah was in the process of pulling trashes & he politely asked Mylo if she would take my order since she was just standing around & she told him “nope” & went to go sit down at a table. He then asked a kid named Brayden if he would take my order & he also said no.
Brayden eventually took my order & Elijah continued to pull trashes. AFTER taking my order, he asked Brayden if he would help him with pulling the trashes & Brayden told him no because he “had” to “watch” the front counter, mind you NO ONE else was at the counter.
Elijah continued to pull the trashes BY HIMSELF. A couple & their two children walked in & neither Mylo or Brayden offered to help take their order, instead they waited for Elijah to stop pulling the trash & wait on them.
I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again solely based off of the experience & the way ELIJAH was having to do everything on his own. He should definitely be acknowledged & definitely...
Read moreThe Whataburger restraunts in Lubbock, Texas are some of the most poorly managed fast food chain restraunts I have ever seen in my life. I finally called in and made a complaint after my latest experience at this location. The drive thru staff asked me my order, if I was apart of the rewards program, and if I ordered a BBQ dip.......6 TIMES in the matter of 5 minutes. The other 15-20 minutes I spent waiting on 3 breakfast taquitoes. When I came home, the taquitoes were half their normal size, and someone just rolled a sausage patty in eggs and cheese and called it a day. Oh and during all of this, both staff memebers that "served me" were giggling.....as if something was funny....or they were inebriated. I try to never write 1-star reviews, but Ive had it with these Lubbock locations. It's nearly guaranteed my order is wrong or poorly made 80% of the time, and all my friendw out here have the same experience. I love Whataburger, but I hope the Chik-fil-a next door buys this location out, demolishes it, and builds...
