Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Lubbock

We had on unusual experience in that my dog got sick, diarrhea, and happened immediately when I was ordering. He had just been professionally groomed and was looking great! It was a huge mess and my wife called from the car. Nick, who couldn't have been over 20 years old, was really professional and helpful at the front and let me borrow some paper towels, and was concerned and considerate. When I had to cancel the order on short order he was willing to do that, but the cleanup turned up to be not too bad (for a 130 lb Pyrenees) and we went ahead and got the pizzas anyway. The bad thing about the store is for some reason they don't think it's important to get the front door fixed and so for three months or so they've been dealing with this door. The location is great but the little mini strip mall is a little tight. I'm sure someone came into excited for their pizza which from the reviews seem to be well received. GET THE DOOR/WINDOW FIXED!! UPDATE 12/2024: I can no longer recommend this Papa Murphy’s. I broke my tooth on, what may be, an olive pit that was on my pizza. When I called, I was hoping for some accountability and a sincere apology. Possibly, some reassurance it wasn’t a cooked bug or something awful, but a mistake with a food item. Instead, I was dismissed and treated like a nuisance. I went here weekly and loved the pizza, but when a business makes a mistake and refuses to apologize, I take issue with that.

Fresh, great tasting pizza! One of the most affordable around. Check out their Specials! We absolutely adore the Jack O Lantern Pizza that comes out in October. The pizza is huge and $10?! Plus, the employees are always so friendly and kind! Highly recommend...

Went in to grab a few pizzas for $10 Tuesday. There was a young lady that was in front of me and ordered 2 medium pizzas. The guy behind the counter explained it would be a better deal if she got a large for $10 or something like that. When I approach the counter I told him my order and it rang up to 29 and some change. I asked about the $10 pizzas and he looked at me and said oh ok...then my price went down. I looked at this guy like REALLY! Unbelievable, why wouldn't I have gotten the same courtesy as the customer before? Really disappointed with service...but the pizza was good. Customer...
