Awesome environment several activities and things to help keep kids busy and entertained, lots of different sweets and some exotic soda flavors, knick knacks and odds n ends. The Ice cream was very tasty as well got the Cookies n Cream with whip topping and crushed oreo bits, was a hard choice between that an the strawberry but ill just have to try that one next visit!

My MIL recommended me to visit Downtown Scoop with my husband and kiddo, and we finally got the chance to stop for a visit! We tried the Michigan Pothole and was NOT disappointed. We enjoyed using their outdoor sitting area to watch Downtown Lufkin do it's thing.

This little ice cream shop brings a whole new level of charm to Downtown Lufkin. It needs to be on your list of things to do in town.🍦 Friendly staff, absolutely delicious flavors of ice cream🍨and delightfully unique flavor dipped cones (my favorite is the waffle cone dipped in white chocolate and fruity pebbles with key lime pie ice cream). My wife brought home some ice cream nachos, and man was it good! It was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! It took me 3 days to eat it all! The waffle cone pieces in the nachos were great!

I would suggest if you haven’t tried this place out, DO IT!

They have several flavors to choose from. They have milkshakes, soda floats, etc. you’ll find...
