Me and my husband wanted some quick food to eat so we decided to Uber Eats this McDonald's .We make our order it comes out to $26.44 after the $5 booking fee. We got a large grandmac meal and a large quarter pounder meal substitute the drink for a large shamrock shake. We live like 3 minutes away but couldn't leave because my little cousin was asleep and we didn't want to leave him alone. After making the order at 12:08 it says it won't be here until 12:36. That's weird but ok. So when the Uber lady gets here she said they gave her the drink and shake first and then they had to wait 20 minutes for the food, and there was literally no one else there, we were the only order. By then the milkshake was melted and when she asked for a remake, they refused. Finally we get the food it ends up showing up at 12:48 because the food was still being prepared at the eta. We get the food and the first thing is both drinks are a medium size, including the melted milkshake that we were charged for a large size. The food is cold, the fries have hardly any salt and the salt that should be on the fries is piled on the meat. And my husband who is a former McDonald's employee, said they didn't use the right meat, he got 41, which is the size that's supposed to go on the quarter pounders, when the grandmac is supposed to get the biggest. And the Dr. Pepper was flat. I've had some pretty hit or miss orders with McDonald's but this is by far the worst. It was...
Read moreWent inside....absolutely nobody on line...stepped on the appropriate area wanting to be called....close to the drive through window they were 3 associates talking and laughing, one of them made eye contact with me...nothing was said....at the same time, a young lady was around the service counter walking back and forth from one corner to the other one stocking up some supplies and participating on the conversation...she as well made eye contact with me not once but twice...nothing was said....I waited...but..no luck....after about 10 minutes...I said to the male associate...hi, excuse me....am I missing something or I am in the wrong area for service?....he replied....she is right there (pointing to the young lady)....I said...yes but....he cut me off repeating she is right there...at that point I said...thanks and she (laughing out with him) took my order
"I will be right with you"..."give me a moment please"...."she will be right with you"...."hello, how can I help you"...."hi, can I take your order"
None of the previous statements were made...those are very important and common customer service standard statements
I don't think I will be stepping into that location again...probably not all the associates will act the same way (based on the shift) but the experience I had was beyond the poorest customer...
Read moreMcDonald's and my stomach are a rare Union these days... And by fault of their own much easier to achieve. And what I was trying to achieve was cutting out the fast food, and sticking with the uncooked and of course the occasional Pizza( I'm Still Human) at Hawkeyes. Somehow I found myself at the Paris McDonald's and once again let down horribly. The new Mushroom Swiss burger a shell of its former self. Dry old and just not good. The fries hotter than hell which is usually a good sign but undercooked. On top of it in my soda was not filled in all ice as usual. So we know McDonald's is not the best we don't expect a whole lot, but this last visit was triggered from an unplanned visit to the Fletcher and North Boulevard McDonald's. Where the mushroom swiss was awesome and dripping with flavor and juices. The fries were great and free refills since I was eating in. Just that trip changed my mind enough that I went to the one on Bearss close to my home, and as usual and reminding me why I don't eat there anymore, was the so so service, the horrible food, and the fact that it's just more than 20 bucks for two people. So that ends my Venture in fast food once again. If you must have I'm McDonald's fix go to the one on Fletcher they serve it the way McDonald's intended it to be and it's not that horrible it's as good as...
