First off we were very excited to have brunch here. The view was very nice. So Sunday was not very busy for brunch and now I know why. We had a party of 5, not huge so this should have not been a problem as there is a very limited menu. The waitress took our order and then we waited and waited and waited. 30 minutes after placing our order our server stopped by our table and said she saw our order coming up and she would be serving us momentarily. After another 15 minutes she brought out 3 plates. 3 of us had ordered the breakfast burger, our shoestring potatoes were ice cold, so it seems those 3 orders sat waiting to served for quite some time before being brought to our table. Then there was a 10 minute wait for the other 2 orders of eggs Benedict to be brought to our table. Each order had broken yolks. Mind you while we waited for our table we watched 3 other tables come in after us, get their food, eat and leave. So after all of this bad service, cold food, we let the server know we wanted to split the check 2 ways. Our server informed us that her manger automatically added the gratuity on each check, which was fine, until we paid the bill. They added a 22% gratuity on to our check. I have no problem with cost; however when I received 1 star service and am charged 5 star gratuity that was not deserved, I have a problem. I tip for good service, when I receive good service, but when people don't have to provide good service to receive a good a good tip, they don't work for it. This was a very bad experience, for service and for food.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Golden Corral is a better choice and you can tip according to the service you receive. I will never go to No. 7 Rooftop again and No one from our " Brunch Club" will either!! 5 unsatisfied customers.in addition, they serve ketchup in little black plastic cups, which is fine; however, when there is one on the floor for your almost 2 hour experience, splattered everywhere and not cleaned, is rather disgusting. Stay away from this place!!!! They had live music, which was nice, but it was so loud I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me. Their menu doesn't match what they...
Read moreFirst I cannot tell you how the food was because waiting 45 minutes without any contact from a server for myself, my girlfriend, and 2 coworkers, we ended up leaving. After the first after 15 minutes I went inside and asked politely if we could get a server to help us. The young lady with glasses and curly hair said she would be right out. After another 10 minutes a coworker of mine went inside to get the attention of someone to help us. He stood by the bar for 5 minutes while 3 servers and the bartender were standing at the end of the bar smiling and laughing but wouldn't even acknowledge him. He grabbed 4 menus and came back outside to our party of 4 and said he had no luck. We waited another 10 minutes and a different coworker went in to beg for some service, no luck while he was standing right in front of them. He came back outside and we sat another 10 minutes while we decided what to do. We decided on a couple other places that would probably love to take the $400 we were about to spend. We were from out of town on business and thought it would be cool to see the view. I grabbed the 4 menus as we started to leave, walked back inside and set them directly in front of the servers. The same curly haired girl said thanks for coming in. I politely told her "no need for thanks since we have been sitting outside waiting for service after you said you'd be right out! "Her response was exactly," that's the way it goes sometimes, bye!" I was absolutely shocked this place is still in business. I should have trusted all these numerous bad reviews and not have even tried. There was a gentleman in the elevator on our way back down that invited us to his Italian establishment right downstairs after overhearing our conversation. We gladly accepted and were seated, served, and taken seriously with respect. We spent our $384.78 there and couldn't have been more happy! STAY AWAY FROM 7 ROOFTOP SO YOU ARENT DISRESPECTED AND IGNORED. Ps to the owner-You have a serious issue with your employees! Imagine all the business and great reviews if you got some help in your business that either knew what they were doing...
