Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Lynchburg

7/5/2025 (Saturday) Auntie Anne’s at RiverRidge Mall in Lynchburg, VA around 4:30 I ordered an almond pretzel , and was told it would be 7 minutes, I told them that was fine. While I waited, they gave me my soda. I drank about 1/2 my cup, the pretzel came after about 10 minutes and I asked for them to just top off my drink. They told me there were no refills- I told them I wish I had known that, I would have asked them to wait to give me my drink. They began speaking in Spanish to each other, then said they would do it this time. Then they asked me what I had, I told them a Diet Coke ( I could stand to lose some weight, I know- I’m 5’3” and 165 pounds), and the girl who was going to refill my drink said “Diet Coke??” Then said something in Spanish to the others and they started laughing. I was so uncomfortable and weirded out. I may go back sometimes, but not if this crew is working. I’m editing this because I just looked at all the other reviews. It looks like this place is a problem and management/owners have not bothered to correct the problem or respond to any of the complaints. That shows they couldn’t care less...

I wish I'd looked at the reviews before I went there today. I went there with my family and the first thing that should've set the tone for me was that the cashier had pajama bottoms on. I asked her if that was the last cinnamon roll left and her response was "What?!" I repeated the question and she very rudely replied "Yeah, the next batch will be out in 15 minutes." I proceed to place my order and after my husband paid, he asked her where the straws and napkins were and she rolled her eyes and with an attitude said "they're right there" without even giving us the direction of where to look. So I spoke up to her and told her, "You know, you would've gotten a tip if you didn't have such a bad attitude. If you didn't want to be here, you should've stayed home." I get that it's a college town, but these young people don't know how to give good customer service, even if they don't feel like it. I work in retail and I give customer service on my "off" days even if I have to fake it. Food wasn't good either. It was like they were sitting...

Made special trip because they sent me bonus pretzel with purchase of dog bites and a drink. Girl at counter says sorry, they're out of them or don't carry any longer. I explain made a special trip and will accept anything as a buy one get one substitution. She says she can't. I head to chik fil e where they never disappoint. As I pass by at closing time she said they give away to donation leftovers. Sounds gross cooked pretzels. Just wanted to check to see how bad of a business person they are. Asked if they wanted to discount anything at 8pm before losing profit. Nope
