Lola's Mexican Cuisine & Cantina — Restaurant in Lynchburg

I have always loved this place until today. I had order soup and so had a women sitting at another table. I order mine without the chips in it and they both were brought out at the same time. My soup had chips in it which was fine however as I was getting the chips out my server came up and asked if everything was ok and I said yes but he noticed that I had been getting the chips out and said oh you got the wrong soup. He picked up my soup took it to the back and brought out probably what had been my soup but just added more chips to what I had picked out to the women at the other table and grabs her soup and brings it to me! I guess he thought that was ok and that she had not touched her soup however she had touched it because there is a lime on the side and it had been used! I would have rather kept my soup and have picked out the chips than have a soup that was already placed on someone else's table. I usually don't complain but this is unacceptable. I would have talked with a manager however I only saw two people working at the time. This place does have in my opinion the best fresh Mexican food but just don't want food after it's been on someone...

First time there. Prob last. Sweet tea tastes like from a can, not fresh. We asked for more salsa for my son and it never got brought to us. Then a different person brought us our food, not our server. My fiance ordered plain nachos, chicken and cheese with no veggies. They brought us the wrong nachos. We waited and waited for the server to check on us and correct the order. Once he did come back he looked at us like we were nuts when I told him the food was wrong. The server brought her nachos to the bar and sat there and talked about the situation. Then the female at the bar dumped the incorrect nachos into a to go container. Idk what she did with it after that. They finally brought the correct nachos. Not impressed with the food. Lacking on cheese sauce. The fajitas were good but the filling stuff like beans and rice and such was skimpy. Def better at other Mexican places. Spent $60....

Just had the worse service here. When we walked in the server literally threw his head back and sighed obviously upset that there were customers coming in? When we sat, we asked him what time they closed tonight as we realized it was a holiday and the hours were different and maybe that was why he was so upset to see us. But I had already did my due diligence and researched their Facebook which showed they were closing at 9. We arrived at 7:15: he proceeded to tell us “in a hour”. I replied, at 8? He said yes. Obviously a lie. Rushed us to order and literally sat across the restaurant and stared at us while we ate. We were uncomfortable the whole time and finally decided to leave. The hostess was very sweet and apologized when we let her know as we were leaving that we would not return and why. We rarely get time to get out alone and this was a huge...
