Cuban Sandwich King — Restaurant in Lyndhurst

This place is great for the Lyndhurst area, considering there aren’t many Hispanic places around here, but everyone saying this place is Cuban is wrong. I know Cuban food- it’s my favorite of all Latin foods, maybe because I’m Cuban, but go to Union City or West New York and you have a plethora of Cuban places to eat at. This place is owned (forgive me if I’m not wrong) by Dominican owners. The Cuban food is good, but it’s not authentic. They have great Dominican dishes- their Mangu is to die for and I go a lot there. I will keep going, because they make great food and are the only authentic LATIN place here, but definitely not...

Only issue is that this nothing Cuban. Zero. I read someone who claims to be Cuban and Miami. What a joke. Unfortunately the present owner didn't pick the name. I would change it. Asap. Anyway. We order two cubanos sandwiches and two guava and cream cheese empanadas, and sodas. The empanadas had no cream cheese or guava🙄One empanada had mozzarella and the other was empty....$1.75 each empanadas. The smallest badest empanadas in New Jersey. I mean how can you mess up empanadas.??? We noticed when we got home that's why we didn't returned them. Now the cubanos were half decent...again portion control, the smallest sandwiches, the bread??
