The Lyndon Station Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Lyndon

I miss Amy Z’s. Amy Z was always so welcoming and accommodating when my family would come in. We would only come in a couple times a year, but there was always 20-30 of us, usually near a holiday when everyone comes to town.

You would think any establishment would be happy to have the business! Not Lyndon Station!! The staff is rude and the regular customers ran me off last night. If you are not a regular, be prepared for rude service and the other customers to stare at you. One customer flat out told me I would need to sit outside because I was not welcome at the bar. (I had not spoken to anyone at this point and I was the first of our large group to arrive)

This was about 6:15 on a Saturday. I inquired with the bartender if older kids could stay till about 9:00 to eat since they serve food. She said kids could not come in at all. Sooo… I asked about the 5 year old playing in one of the booths, I was told that was okay because it was the owners kid. I understand if kids are not welcome, but clearly this kids playing in the window for everyone to see before they even walk in is okay. Overall, I absolutely got the vibe unless you are a regular or know the owner you are not welcome.

Today I stopped by Lyndon Station bar and grill for lunch. They recently started expanding their hours to include lunch. It was wonderful! I had not been before and it was a pleasure meeting the owner Jay. The service was excellent. The place is extremely clean and the food was really good. I can't wait to get back and try some more of the things on the menu. Everyone says they love to support local and I hope they mean it. This guy is trying really hard to provide the Lyndon community a nice place to come for lunch, dinner or a drink and some good times! If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and stop by. I've been livin on the lyndon/st mattehws like for nearly 3 years now. Tonight I had the BEST TIME here. Super enthusiastic karaoke, attentive bar staff and I made new friends. I tend to meet new people here but I felt compelled to post tonight because I had such a good time! I wanted to post the last time I was there because of how out of this world the fish nuggets were but tonight took the cake. I went out of my way to ask tonight about that food I had last time I was there and found out they make everything fresh. Mannnnnn you didn't have to tell me LAWD. 10/10...
