A fantastic place to get a great sandwich. There are many options on the menu, so you’ll be able to find something that fits your appetite. I went with the reuben and it was soooooo delicious. Everything about it was good, from the soft corned beef to the sauerkraut to the rye bread. I got a bowl of chicken tortilla soup to go with it which was also tasty. There are a few seats inside if you want to sit and eat, or you can take out. The cheesecake looked fantastic and seems quite popular, so I’ll have to come back for that. Service was fast and friendly.

What a great experience! Incredible sandwiches, and very friendly staff. We came in from out of town and got our food to go to eat at Holsopple Brewery. The Jimmy Hendrix was ridiculous - the chipotle mayo will be burned into my memory forever. So delicious. My egg salad/pimento cheese/bacon sandwich was sooooo much buttery delicious goodness. The potato soup was clearly made from scratch and was beyond amazing. Next we are in Louisville there is no way I won't be stopping here for some amazing food with a side of honest to goodness kindness.

Tried this family owned Cafe for lunch with my wife. The small restaurant has a distinct 70s vibe with fewer than 10 tables. Hot and sandwiches, soup, french fries and desserts are ordered at the counter. Food is very good with generous portions and cheap prices. Two can easily have lunch for $16-20, including a homemade brownie. The sandwiches and fries were served hot and soon after placing our order. Highly recommend this unique spot if you're looking for an inexpensive and delicious lunch.

I lifeguard down the road here in the summer. I'll eat lunch here everyday. Amazing staff and amazing food! Their pasta salad is off the chain and their sandwiches are crafted by the hands of an artist!

The second I bit into my Van Gough, I was taken to a place that transcends all reality. I watched myself eat that sandwich, I asked myself how it was but I wouldn't answer myself. I wanted to feel panicked, but somehow I knew it was all going to be ok. This was the starving artist experience. I can't adequately explain this experience anymoreso than a beautiful culinary liberation that'll bring a tear or two to your eye balls. Midway through eating this divine sandwich I came to the realization that the world had taken the impressionist form Van Gough was so renowned for. I was inside a painting, the impressionist tones and criteria braught me nothing but feelings of elation and euphoria. I wasn't quite sure how I was going to escape this trance, ever see my family again, but I was ok with it. I was hungry. Before I knew it, and to my great disappointment, I had taken the last bite of the Van Gough sandwich and the impressionist euphoric feelings of elation were gone... Lunch time was over... I can only now somberly go about the rest of my day reminiscing on my prepossessing lunch and the appreciable times I had eating it. The silver lining? To my great exaltation, I jubilantly came to the realization that I can get starving artists once more tomorrow! I can hardly wait to experience the journey of a different sandwich... Who knows where it will take me..?

Oh yeah, they only take cash. So bring the dough to get your dough. Consider this your friendly neighborhood sandwich plug. 10/10 would...

This place is SO CLOSE to my house and I had no idea it was here! I've lived in this area for 12 years! How did I not know???

First things first, they only accept cash, so make sure you have some! Now that's out of the way, buckle up!

The Starving Artists Cafe & Deli has a unique spin on their menu. Every sandwich is named after an artist! I think it is so clever and fun! The owner has crafted this menu over many years and the pairings are beautiful and perfect! I haven't had a bad sandwich yet!

By the way, there are SO many options to choose from! It can feel a little overwhelming to choose because they sound so yummy! I've actually started a note on my phone to keep track of what I've tried so that I can work my way through the menu! My favorite sandwich so far is the Georgia O'Keefe.

The fries are pretty good. However, the macaroni salad and potato salad are absolutely amazing! The owner said that it is a family recipe from, I believe, her grandma. I love that kind of family tie in.

I've also had a couple of her brownies. Oh my goodness. Super fudgy and my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

There are so many options of sandwiches, sides, and desserts. You could go in and get a different meal over and over and over. And they would all likely be...

Me and my coworkers order from Starving Artist on a regular basis cause the food is good and the prices are reasonable, however the service stinks. The woman whom answers the phone (the owner- we were told) is very rude. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but to treat customers in that manner is uncalled for. We placed an order for 8 and gave our number- somewhere along the way the number was transposed when given to the driver so when it was delivered by the driver he was very upset that he had to wait on us at the front desk and could not get a hold of anyone as the number he called was incorrect. He was extremely mean and hateful. When a call was made to voice our concerns, the woman stated that we need to make sure to give a correct number next time and that when "we" order we never have our payment ready and they do not have time to wait on us. She proceeded to tell us that she had four other calls to take and that we needed to get over it, "That's just life- get over it". I do not expect perfection and mistakes happen to everyone but I do feel that respect should be given and that a business owner should care about their customers. No wonder the driver was so rude as he has her for an example of how to...
