Angelina's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Lynn

I went in to get an Italian sub. When I called they told me they had genuine Italian meats like mortadella, salami, etc.. My Son and I decided to buy the Italian sub. We had never been in there before so I started chatting with the owner who said he was Greek and that he owned the place for only 5 years. He started making the sub and while he was doing so we chatted about Greek food and other establishments in the area. My Son asked him how business has been because it was dead and being he had just told us he started business 5 years ago. The owner said "eh it's okay". As he continued to make the sub he said to me "I don't typically talk about politics" and then he started talking about tRump and how he cannot wait for him to get elected again. The owner blames the last four years of slow business on Joe Biden giving money to Ukraine, but nothing to do with covid and that during the tRump administration's last year (his first year of business), he claimed he was doing better. The owner continued to spew how he wanted tRump back in office. Meanwhile he loaded our sub with too many toppings and hots, when we only asked for a few, and only 2 types of meats, 3 slices each and 3 HALF slices of provolone cheese on a large sub. Leaving the sub to be mostly bread, toppings, and way too many hots which made the sub too hot and why I believe the sub was so vinegary. Between his propaganda and a lousy sub, I would NEVER set foot in this establishment again. I am sorry he isn't doing well but I highly suspect it has nothing to do with the current president, and maybe he should keep to his point of not bringing up politics with his customers and focus on making a better sub. New Owners terrible service. I used to love Angelinas’s for years because they always had the best sandwiches in town! But tonight proved that it’s not the same anymore. Customer and Delivery service is horrible. We waited almost 2 hours for our food UNACCEPTABLE and food still had not arrived. They never called to tell Us what was going on. We even tried calling about 7 times and just their voicemail was on. I finally decided to show up to the place and I asked what was going on with our food 🤷🏽‍♀️ the customer service was terrible I asked for my money back. When I got home the delivery man showed up at 7:15pm we had ordered our food at 5:25pm which is what I told him and he looked very shocked no one had informed him about it. I said We already got our money back we’re all set. No thank you. FYI they also shut off their phones when the lines are busy so if I were you don’t even bother ordering. Nope...

I used to enjoy going to angelinas on a regular basis but tonite was a totally different experience it was discusting my burger was burnt bland the tiny pieces of onion and tomato was wilted all nite i couldn't get the nasty out of my mouth. My daughter in laws pasta was cold and raw and my sons steak salad was gross after one piece of steak he spit it out it burnt his throat going down. And he threw the rest of the whole thing out. 38.00 worth of garbage in the trash. I don't know what happened they used to be an oitstanding place to eat.
