I have only come to this restaurant a few times, but twice now, I have had the displeasure of Chrystal being the window cashier. You will know she is working because there will be a massive line of cars in the drive-thru with almost no movement.
I sat there for about 30 minutes today to get my food, even though there were only about 4-5 cars ahead of me. I ordered 2 Baconators and when I finally pulled up to pay, I heard Chrystal complain a couple times about a different lady at the order box humming the jeopardy song in an effort to get her move faster. "I am not going to go any faster if you sing," Chrystal said angrily. I said nothing but totally understood the reason and need for the jeopardy song.
I drove home with my sandwiches, only to realize there was almost no bacon on them...just a few crumbles. (I took photos as proof.) When I called to complain, I heard Chrystal talking to the guy who made them. "He says he put bacon on them," she said.
"There are a couple crumbles, not strips like in the pic. Barely any," I replied. (It is called the Baconator because it is supposed to have a lot of bacon on it. đ)
Chrystal then told me they ran out of bacon and that is why there were only crumbles on there. She said they were making bacon now and asked me to bring the sandwiches back so they could remake them for me. I asked if I could just come back tomorrow, dreading sitting in line for another 20+ minutes to get replacements.
She said, "No, you have to bring sandwiches back because my sandwich guy says they had bacon."
đ Ummmm...didn't we just cover the fact that you ran out of bacon and that is why my sandwiches had hardly any?? But you prefer to call me a liar and make me wait in a 30 minute line to correct your error? đ¤ Uhhhh...no.
I told her I would come back, but after hanging up, I decided I would be risking getting spit in my food, given the exhibited level of customer care and service. So I decided to write this review instead.
Some people over there either need to get fired or retrained cause no one goes to fast food to wait in a 30 minute line, especially just to have their order effed up and be told...
Read moreI would give them a worse review yet I still go here sometimes. Sometimes the customer service is good and other times itâs terrible. I decided to write this review due to a bad breakfast experience, this isnât the first.
I went to get breakfast and got in line at 10:20am. I know they stop serving breakfast at about 10:30. I say about as sometimes they will serve a little after 10:30. I assume they do this to accommodate those who were in line before 10:30. I have been accommodated before. My last couple of visits I havenât been so lucky.
I spoke with the manager Caitlin(?) who simply said breakfast was over. My thing is, I wouldâve meet the time if not for a couple of cars that took a very long time to order, longer than it should take to typically order your food and grab it combined. Due to the others taking so long I was informed breakfast was over.
A female employee came out to change the breakfast sign, couldnât she note how many people are in line before 10:30? One would think this would be accounted for and those guests needs meet. So I ended up wasting my time driving there, waiting in line and for what? Nothing! I left and drove to McDonaldâs where I was served breakfast. No i wasnât served on the all day breakfast menu or anything, I was served normal breakfast(tho I wanted WendyâsâŚ) Why did they serve me? They continue a little past 10:30 to accommodate all their guests. If they had told me no more breakfast I wouldâve been ok as I did go to McDonaldâs late. I wasnât told no, I was served breakfast at 10:37am.
I understand the 10:30am cut off. A better procedure simply need be put in place to accommodate those who arrived on time. Why should those who didnât reach the order box by 10:30 due to a long line or in my case, others taking an excessive amount of time, be punished. Also talk to the manager Caitlin, for a manager she seemed very short and insincere.
Overall I still see myself returning to Wendyâs as itâs cheap and typically quick. Just wanted upper management who views this to know and make some meaningful change to better accommodate...
Read moreIt is essential for the management team to be aware of the aspects that need improvement, which will contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience.
While I had high hopes for my visit, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of the establishment. The service provided by the staff fell short of expectations, as I encountered rudeness and disrespect during my time there. Furthermore, it appeared that some employees may have been under the influence of substances, which affected their ability to perform their duties efficiently.
Moreover, I found the quality of the food and beverages to be unsatisfactory. The taste and presentation did not meet the standards that one would expect from a reputable establishment like Wendyâs. Additionally, the preparation time for orders was unreasonably long, resulting in a significant wait time of approximately 50 minutes.
Given these concerns, I regretfully cannot recommend Wendyâs to others at this time. It is my belief that the management should consider reevaluating the current team and seek out individuals who demonstrate professionalism, efficiency, and a genuine understanding of customer service. An ideal staff should possess the necessary skills and work ethic to deliver a positive dining experience.
One particular area of concern was the conduct of the night shift manager. Unfortunately, her interactions with customers lacked basic customer service skills and professionalism. I observed her demeanor to be confrontational and, on occasion, it appeared that she may have been impaired while speaking with guests.
In light of these issues, I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and takes appropriate actions to address the shortcomings at Wendy's. I strongly believe that with the implementation of necessary changes and the appointment of deserving individuals, the restaurant can regain its reputation as a preferred dining destination.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that you will take the appropriate steps to rectify...
