The membership customer service desk is unhelpful. If you need to make a return of something you got at the aurora or other lynnwood Costco by the mall, they try to turn you away saying they canât do the return because they donât carry it which is absolutely not true. One time this almost happened to me where I needed to return a jacket I bought a day before at the aurora Costco and I tried to return it when they said no we canât return this here because our store doesnât carry it I made the associate get the manager who begrudgingly returned my item. It was Kirkland signature and no where on the website or postings does it say you cannot return items purchased at a different Costco here. This is the business Costco and they donât have a lot of the items the regular costcos carry however theyâre able to view your purchase history and sell you a regular membership here and like I said eventually after I asked for a manager (who also tried to say go to a regular Costco also) did do the return because again itâs not posted as an actual policy I think itâs just the employees not wanting to make returns on items they donât carry. They said if they returned this item they donât carry thereâs no place for them to return it to the shelves to resell it but thatâs not the customers issue and if that was an issue they should have this fake policy...
Read moreThis place is a madhouse! I often feel invisible here. As a disabled woman that doesnât âlookâ disabled, it is difficult to navigate through this store. The public is rude, and I alwaysâŚ.ALWAYS have to wait for help lifting heavy items into my car. Today, I was hit with two carts. Cut off by several others, and the gal who (finally) did help me load my heavy item responded within âreally?â When I related my experience to her. Of course she did. She is probably 20ish something and without physical boundaries, and she made me wait while she played with empty boxes. I wasnât a priority ⌠clearly. I am also reluctant to come back due to this storeâs cutting off of certain items I need. For instance there is no longer an option for ready to drink protein formulas that are NOT MILK BASED. They once carried Orgain pea protein formulas; no more. So I I have to go to two costco locations to get my needs met. I believe Costco does this on purpose to make us âshopââŚ. But here is the deal; I am disabled. SoâŚ. I must go to two stores (miles apart) and attempt to get carry out help twiceâŚ.. while navigating an extremely hostile shopping environment. Because this arrangement is made by those who are able bodied and simply donât care, and donât have a desire to learn. Soooo done! I donât think I will renew...
Read moreI had the worst experience with the service at this store, especially as a colored person. I spent over $300, only to be told at the exit that the items at the bottom of my cart were not scanned or paid for because they couldn't find them on my receipt. The employee called for help to check my order, but nothing was found. Meanwhile, other customers with bigger carts were hardly being checked, simply because they were not of color. I became frustrated as they continued to go back and forth, claiming something was missing but not being able to figure out what. It didn't make sense to me, especially since there was no self-checkout and everything seemed to be in order. When I asked for my order to be canceled, the employees completely ignored my request and continued to rescan all my items. Feeling fed up, I decided to walk away and reiterated my request to cancel my order. Despite nothing being missed in the end, one of the employees was told to bring the items to me as I was leaving the store. I am deeply disappointed and upset at how they treated me like a thief, selectively discriminating against me even when nothing was found. It was a terrible experience, and I will not be returning to that...
