Lynnwood Square — Local services in Lynnwood

This square used to be a bustling part at the center of Lynnwood. A large sports store, office supply store, Old Country Buffet, furniture stores and more are all former hosts of the buildings around the square.

However, the big stores have closed one by one and it is only a shell of its former glory. New businesses have been slow to move into the square as I am sure the cost of the square footage must be quite high.

Accross the parking lot, McDonalds, Taco Time, and other strip-mall stores find a bustling home to those looking for specific needs.

I believe if an outlet mall were built here, it would become a hub of crazy activity that would rival that of Marysville and revive the heart of this area in Lynnwood.

With the planned addition of light rail to this area, it will be interesting to see what becomes...

It has become a must go to when I'm in town and craving sushi. Never had a bad experience with either staff or food! Service is always on point. Cleanliness is always there and have never felt any sticky tables, utensils, plates, cups or furniture.

The Kamikaze Roll has now become my favorite...next to the spicy tuna hand roll...

Still the best! Even though I'd love to have an AYCE option, it makes me wanna come back to try different rolls. I need to make a copy of their menu so I can check off which ones I've tried so far. Then again...I have never been served anything here that I didn't like.

The new renovation section was cool looking, but also seemed to have made it feel a bit smaller. I do plan on bringing a group here so we can sit there and have a fun time laughing...

Sometimes the service is great & sometimes it's AWFUL - LIKE TODAY!! My friend went to pick up our usual order - hers was fine - mine WAS NOT... I ended up w/a chicken sandwich which had NO lettuce, 2 pickles stuck together, 1 tiny ring of onion - NO SAUCE & a squirt of mustard in the middle that wasn't spread in any way - just made the bun stick in a dime size spot. My breakfast on a day when I'm in a hurry to get to the hospital!!! Not only that, but NO RECEIPT so I can't get a replacement meal.... When I go at night, I USUALLY get great service!!!!
