The only reason I gave this place four stars and not five was because we waited a very long time for our food, almost an hour. Honestly though? It was worth it. I would just plan on it next time. We shared an order of the sopa crema de mariscos (which came with two plain pupusas), and a spinach and cheese pupusa. It was all WONDERFUL, and plenty of food for two people. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are large, and everyone else's food at the surrounding tables looked fantastic. Seemed pretty legit to two well-traveled gringos like us. I love this place, but there was a cashier today who was rude. I asked for tamales as I usually do and she claimed they didn’t have any. We didn’t believe her so my boyfriend went by himself to ask and she said they did. How petty! I hope she gets more training. Idk why she would refuse to sell me anything if I was very polite.
