Ill be honest. I thought I had placed my order at another restaurant but I made a mistake and placed my order here. I had never been here before. I had driven by and it never appealed to me. I thought it was just another restaurant that served ceviche and cocketeles. So I had to pick up my food and thought OMG I WILL regret this mistake. Well I couldn't just leave the food. When I got there it was 9pm and they close at 10 and they still had people eating there, picking up orders I mean they were busy. Oh before I forget. The girl that took my phone order was very very nice. She explained the different types of rolls and their ingredients. She was super cool. If you read this review tell your boss to give you a raise, you deserve it. So when I was paying I still had my doubts and I asked her what the hell did I order so she gave me a menu and pointed to what I ordered. I was like this looks yummy. It was very delicious. I honestly don't remember everything I ordered. I know I ordered the Grenudo roll. It wasn't what I expected. It was great. Loved it. The sauce or dressing that they give is really good. Not spicy or bland at all. It has good flavor. I know i ate something that had crab meat on the bottom or the side. That was really good too. I finally went to this sushi place my fiancé had been bragging about. I was excited… until I experienced the service.
This is my personal opinion based on my personal experience. The food is good — but when customer service is this bad, the quality doesn’t matter.
My order number was 141, and I waited 55 minutes before my food came out. Yes, they were busy, but here’s the problem: there should be a system in place — at least one dedicated cook or staff member for dine-in customers so they’re not stuck waiting while take-out orders flood the kitchen.
By the time my food arrived, my hunger and patience were gone. For me, this was the first and last time I’ll be here.
Advice for anyone thinking of visiting: Call ahead, place your order by phone, and give yourself at least an hour before you expect to eat.
