Ms Paisa Mariscos & Sushi — Restaurant in Lynwood

Placed my pickup order through Grubhub yesterday 2/18/2023. I walk up to the cashier, informed her that I was there to pick up my Grubhub order I had placed 30 minutes ago, she looked at me so confused 🫤 I then showed her my receipt because it seemed like she had no idea what I was talking about. She then found the manager told him that I was there to pickup my Grubhub order he then tells her “oh the machine is not on” dude!! She then asks me to give her my order! I’m like you can’t see my order on the ticket that printed on your side!?! (No common sense) ok fast forward I get the food, 20 shrimp tacos, 2 large shrimp cocktails, 3 shrimp tostadas and 4 avocados super excited because out of my 30 plus years coming here I’ve never been disappointed I get home and to my surprise the shrimp cocktails had NO flavor, the shrimp were no cleaned and the shrimp were so SMALL!! I then said ok let me try a ceviche tostada dude same thing NO flavor! So disappointed!! Man I remember this place being the best place ever it used to be super clean too but now it just looks run down it has no soul 😩 Unfortunately I won’t be...

Went for lunch today. I've been telling my co workers that this place is hands down the best for mariscos. After, 2-3 spoon full of the shrimp cocktail , it was a disappointment. No flavor what so ever. I had to add salt after salt and drowned it in tapatio and lemon. Still no taste just a burning mouth and high intake of salt. The tostada de pescado was the same thing with no taste, just big chucks of meat. The shrimp still had its "poop" in it and not cleaned. My co workers expressions was pure disappointment. I loved this place growing up but unfortunately, I and (we) will never go back to this place. The end of an era in 2023..... Please save your money and find another location for mariscos. I cant rate the other food but shrimp cocktail and tostada de pescado is NASTY!!!!!!!.... Good Luck to all...

I've been coming here for 20+ years. I remember when they started selling sushi. Lol. It's really hit or miss with this place. The woman taking the order is your typical Hispanic woman with a bad attitude. They finally started taking credit payments.... ( IRS don't play with cash only). I usually get the shrimp tacos... ceviche and pulpo. The ceviche sizes are smaller, but the ignorant bad customer service is still the same. .. Best to come when not busy because the arrogance is less due to needing business. After 20+ years. I'm starting to look for another ceviche place.... Sad. The world has changed so much. This used to be the place where Mexican families would show off on weekends, ordering seafood and listening to Mariachi. I miss the 90s. Bad service over priced food small portions....
