Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lyons Township

Update: came through the drive thru this time and the girl was laughing the entire time she was taking my order. At first, thought she was rude and laughing at me. Then I get to the window and she’s a young girl just flirting and joking around with her coworker. Fine, although probably not the time when you’re talking to customers. Then, they asked me what I ordered and started laughing because they gave my food to the customer before me by mistake who already drove off. How professional and hilarious… to laugh about taking someone’s money and giving them the wrong order. Further proves my previous review.

Original review: Been ordering from this location via delivery app for 3 years now. Not once have I ever gotten the sauce that I ask for, which is literally printed on the receipt they staple on the bag. I’m not even exaggerating. Not once in the 15+ times we have placed an order have we gotten the sauce, that we just expect now that we aren’t going to get it when we place an order. Who wants to eat chicken tenders or popcorn shrimp dry af with no sauce? And don’t get me started on how many times we haven’t gotten biscuits that are included in combos, or additional biscuits we PAY for. Either these employees are paying for the sauce and biscuits out of their own paychecks, or they are just flat out not paying attention. My guess...

I should give it less stars but I did receive food, so there's that. I wasn't going to even leave this review until I read the others who have had some sketch situations here as well. Place closes at 10 but out of everything before 9. I was kinda confused when I received a call from a frustrated driver about the girl at the window. She put the girl on the phone who proceeded to tell me that their out of wings in all flavors. I'm like "at a chicken joint you're out of chicken?" It really doesn't matter the situation, I would have been fine either way, but it's all about the delivery. She could have been at least a little nice, I mean ZERO customer service skills, ZERO!!! Made it seem like she was doing me a favor giving me cold dried out chicken strips. (They were absolutely terrible, cooked at least an hour ago) She literally said, this is your only option, spicy chicken strips. You're telling me that they're done cooking chicken strips at 8:45? Lord, someone overhaul this staff. I attached a pic of the little dried out flat pieces...

Update: Jan 2021 Went through this Popeyes 3 months ago and got sick right after from the Popeyes chicken sandwich. I brushed it off as a coincidence. It happened again to me about a month later, same sandwich. I stopped getting chicken there but my son loves their chicken nuggets so we stopped by and got him an 8pc nuggets. He threw up about 2hrs after eating it. I no longer think this is a coincidence. Not good Popeyes...not good. What you all do to that meat? 🤢

Original Review: Been here a few times. Food has usually been good. Got sick once after eating a chicken sandwich but can't prove it was the sandwich so withholding judgement. Been here plenty of times after and food has been good and no issues. Sometimes the girl taking orders can come across a bit rude but that's okay. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Love...
