Revel Supper Club — Restaurant in Lyons Township

I had 8 free tickets to the Mother's Day comedy show May 11th, Headliner "B Cole" Unfortunately I not my guest was aloud into the venue because of an extremely small situation involving your manager/security person and my young 21yr old niece. I was standing in the back ground witnessing the whole bout.... Your person approached my daughter and niece with an unprofessional deposition speaking aggressively stating "You bet not take another drink‼️" Yes they had cups, he asked them to pour out they comply... He took my niece cup from her she said to him she wanted her cup back he said no at first, he also said it comedy! She continued to say she wanted her cup back, meanwhile he told my daughter she could put her cup in her purse! He became agitated suddenly with my niece because she kept asking for her cup back. I watched him interacting with my daughter and niece until surprisedly to me!! He said to my niece with raised voice "You tripping over a . 99 cent cup!!" He gave it to her and then said you can't come in. I thought with all the interaction with my daughter and niece he was joking!! Now my niece sister asked him why he refusing her sister because she want her cup regardless of the cost. Then he said my second niece couldn't come in to the venue. He mentioned they should been like my daughter and cooperate, which they were compliant he took my niece cup in an joking way and poured hers out. After too much dialogue between your person, my two nieces and my daughter he decided to now walk away ignoring I had myself and 5 other guest there not acknowledging us, meaning asking us anything pertaining to entering the venue he didn't know us!! He didn't know if I was with my daughter or nieces but he assumed we were. After I watched him go around us to ask other guest about their group I approached him and politely apologized for what I had witnessed and him to please allow us in it's mother's day and she's young she just wanted to keep her cup... He totally dismissed anything I was saying, it's as though he had a point to get across. The whole situation was uncalled for and it was a small thing nothing and no reason to blow up like he did it. Opinion: Your person was unprofessional he could have approached them better explain your policy or ask them to rid cups and kept it moving!! All the dialogue he aniciated with them until his authority position set in now became unnecessary aggressive, he made it clear to me " I don't have a boss here" saying something like that to me further made me realize this guy is throwing his weight around with these young girls on purpose. He ruined my Mother's Day evening. I feel all things happen for a reason I was not suppose to be in your venue for only God knows. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Revel Super Club with a business associate, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We initially stopped by for cocktails and appetizers, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual business meeting. The space was intimate and mellow, with a live DJ setting the tone without overpowering the conversation. We truly appreciated that it wasn’t overly crowded, which allowed for a relaxed and enjoyable time.

Highly recommend: egg rolls and salmon Philly sandwich!

The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. During our visit, they invited us back for their Sunday comedy night — and we’re glad we took them up on it. While it was a packed house, the vibe remained great and the crowd added to the fun. Though there was a longer wait time for food that night, the staff remained courteous and attentive, which made all the difference.

Attended the opening event Pros:

Servers did their best and were attentive Interior looks wonderful Band was great

Cons: Security and the worker (manager?) manning the door were rude and unhelpful. The other worker was especially condescending. At one point they announced that people needed to move their cars, but then said if you had to step out of line, to settle that with whoever's around you because it had nothing to do with them Everyone was meant to get 4 courses, (two cocktail samples, appetizer, salad, entree, dessert) they had everyone sat by 7:30-ish. My group got out drinks around 8:45, appetizer started showing up at 9-9:15. We didn't receive any other dishes by 9:30 (which is when we left) Comedian's jokes were 'dated' to be polite

It seems like a lot of servers left during the event, but I can't confirm that....
