Tacos Mexicanos — Restaurant in Macedonia

Do you like poor food, served with even worse customer service? Than this is the place for you! I placed a togo order last night so that a friend and I could have a picnic at Brandywine falls just 5 minutes from this place. I love mexican food and have had it all over the country. This was the worst place I have ever been. Garbage outside the back door should have been enough to tell me to walk away. I entered the restaurant and waited 15 minutes behind 2 people to pick up and pay for my order. The cashier was having issues with the credit card machine but wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. When it was finally time for me to pay and get my food after repeating my order to me 3 times on the phone, he forgot my queso dip on the bill. While standing in line so long I found that nobody in the kitchen wears hair nets and the guy plating the food only wears one glove, touching almost all the food with his uncovered hand. Upon getting my food 20 minutes after the time they told me it would be ready( and didn't even thank me for waiting so long), I rushed to the picnic I was late for and hoped the best for my meal. I got a shredded chicken, carne asada, and mahi mahi taco. None of them had any toppings on them, just meat and a shell. My friend got a chorizo quesadilla and it was so salty and greasy she couldn't finish it. This place is garbage, your money is better invested...

If you decide to eat here. Its better to order take out then to deal with there rude staff. As soon as we walked in the serve who sat us seemed annoyed and beyond mean. He wouldnt tell us the specials and when we asked he pointed at the sign and walked away. when he took our order. we had to repeat it 3 times. He than walked away and than came back to ask again. Later when our food arrived he asked our a few questions ( im assuming to try and be friendly) but while responding to said questions just walked away. I was still eating and he took my plate away. I tried calling to him to bring it back. He ignored me. When we asked for the check we had to ask him three times to bring it. As soon as the check was brought to us he stood there watching us. I still had half a marg to drink and so did my bf. he came back three more times to collect the check and then left with attitude because we didnt put our money in it because we were still drinking.

I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with him. He couldn't be bothered with us even though they had two other tabels.

Food was tasty, but service was horrendous. We waited uncomfortably to be acknowledged by a disdainful waitress when we arrived, then after sitting we waited an inordinate amount of time for a highchair for our toddler. Then when we were ready to leave we gave up waiting for our bill and went and stood at the register. The manager had to track down the bill from the waitress.

We'll be back to give them another chance, but they better hone their service skills if they want repeat customers. The manager seemed quite respectful with a service oriented attitude, but his staff needs work. They also need someone to teach them how to wait tables efficiently. This place can cook, but they don't know how to provide the service.

We both had the chicken chimichanga, it tasted good/fresh and was a decent value at $10 for a large portion.

The kids meals at $5.25 were disappointing. Five bucks for a 1 small folded tortilla with melted cheese in it seems excessive.
