Let me start by saying that we live in an apartment complex near this establishment, which is within walking distance. Initially, we planned to walk there and use our coupons. However, when we arrived, the doors were locked, and there was no sign indicating that they were short-staffed, something I would have understood if it had been mentioned. The establishment is supposed to offer indoor dining, and if it doesn’t, I simply don’t see the point in having seats inside.
If the goal is to cut costs and minimize staff, maybe it would be wise to move to a smaller venue that doesn’t require indoor seating. On the way back, I tried to explain to my boyfriend that ever since COVID, the restaurant industry—especially fast food—has been pushing to increase revenue by limiting indoor service to save on staffing costs. Honestly, I didn’t even get my food in the end. After the attitude I received from the woman at the drive-thru when I merely asked about the coupons, which was a straightforward question, we decided to go somewhere else.
It really comes down to the need for businesses to properly staff their establishments and offer employees a livable wage or, ideally, both. This way, the staff won’t display a poor attitude when customers have simple questions or need guidance. The restaurant industry is struggling because there seems to be a lack of concern for service and support for the staff. At the end of the day, while business is indeed transactional, I would much prefer to spend my money at a place that treats both customers and employees...
Read moreAs per usual with this location: Ask for something, then don't receive it. I generally avoid this location because I am always missing something from small easy orders. I just arrived home to see that the sauce that THEY asked ME if I wanted, isn't there. The cheese sauce I asked for for my fries, that I was charged for, also wasn't in the bag, along with the fries they were supposed to go on. There were all of 5 items that should have been in the bag: Burger, Fries, Jalapeno Bites, and dipping sauces for both the bites and fries. Yet somehow I get home to realize I have all of 2 items in my bag. Do I want to come back up there? Of course not. Do I want to call, to have you argue with me about what was missing, then at BEST, have you offer to replace it the next time I'm up there, only to have the person I speak with at the drive thru have no idea what I'm talking about, and not uphold my offering. It is a lose-lose scenario, so my only solution is to urge others to eat at ANY other Arby's available to you. I will always do my best, however sometimes you just think, "Well they must have new employees by NOW" but no, I am forever in the crosshairs of Arby's mediocre staff.
Oh and by the way, putting a dollop of cheese on one corner of my beef n cheddar, is NOT adequate and should not be considered a beef n cheddar. I understand there is nothing glamorous about working fast food, but just care like 5%...
Read moreThe staff here is deplorable. After messing up an order of a woman, and telling her that she could come back that night to receive the correct order that she paid her money for, she was refused service. No one would come to the speaker, they refused to open the window or provide a refund. When you tell a customer it's okay to come back when you've missed up an order, the proper thing to do is to pull up the receipt and make sure their order is made properly or have their money ready for a refund. Instead, they called the cops, subsequently putting her life in danger, and lied and said that she was being aggressive and threatening. She was never given her food nor a refund and was banned. This is unacceptable behavior from the staff here. I hope their is swift punishment for the staff there that night for their terrible performance as employees of Arby's, but also for calling and lying to the police about what happened. Piss poor customer service skills doesn't mean you call the cops on a customer, after telling them to come back so that the situation could be rectified. Shame on them, and shame on you Arby's if you do nothing to...
