Highly disappointed. Mt girlfriend and I live across hall in the Harbours. We pass this restaurant everyday and decided to give it a try after google showed an over 4 star review out of 1200+ reviews. We were HIGHLY disappointed. We waited 10 minutes at the host stand as there was a sign that said “please wait to be seated”. I finally stood in the hall from the front door to the dinning room as my girlfriend attempted to call the restaurant in hopes of getting someone’s attention. We ordered the steak bites which were the only good thing we got. They were very good but a bit expensive at $18. I got the cod dinner as it was the special for Friday. The menu said “entrees get 2 sides” but I was only offered one. (I got a salad instead of chips) The fish itself was good but I picked all the breading off as it was completely lacking in flavor. My girlfriend misordered. She meant to get the campfire chicken and instead ordered the Colorado chicken. It looked completely unappetizing (it resembled cat throw up) but despite the look she gave it a try anyways as she didn’t want to send it back since it was her mistake. It was as unappetizing as it looked. She let the waitress know it wasn’t what she was expecting and gave it a try and didn’t enjoy it and asked instead if she could have the campfire chicken. The waitress explained how she, and I quote “told them you didn’t like it because otherwise they would have made you pay for both entrees”. I replied that she had tried it and didn’t like it so not sure how that was a lie. Our original entrees took about an hour to get to the table at 2:00pm so we ended up having to take it to go as ai had finished my entree and she had to be to work in 30 minutes. Absolutely bad business practices and we will NOT be returning. And we do NOT recommend.
I did contact the business. I reiterated what was posted here with slightly more detail.
This was the response:
Thanks for following up with the review - most people post and never respond again. I use feedback to address my staff in how to handle situations. I will never say we are perfect but try to get better everyday. I apologize that we dropped the ball today and hope we can earn your business. If you feel like you would like to give us another chance please let me know. Thanks again - Chef Scott

Read moreSo disappointed- As a Denver native, when I recently moved here and saw this restaurant, I was excited because I assumed this will be my new home away from home. I placed a phone order and when I went to the restaurant, I saw a sign saying that the order I had placed was actually on a daily special. I hadn't paid for my order yet so I asked about it. The girl told me thats only for people who eat inside. Weird, but ok. I was ok with eating inside so I told her I don't mind doing that. She then said she can't honor the price because its already packaged. Such a strange policy, imo. But ok. I paid ($35 plus tip inside of $14 😒) for my meal and she said she'd go grab it. Almost 15 min later she comes out with the food. If it was already packaged, then why did I need to wait another 15 min for you to walk to the back and grab it?
I figured maybe she's new, so in spite of the poor service, I was expecting the food to be decent. Like, comparing it to Texas Roadhouse level of expectations...I didn't expect Gordon Ramsey level of food. I am sad because it didn't even meet Texas Roadhouse levels. A lot of fat for a supposedly better cut of meat. There was zero seasoning (i can live with that, I can just add my own salt and pepper, but still weird because its cooking 101), and it was cooked rare instead of medium like I requested. It tasted like it had been sitting there for a bit.
The sides were ehhh. The mashed potatoes had no salt and the baked potato didn't come with any toppings...I didn't expect the works, but some butter would be nice.
Lastly, no utensils which was irritating because I had just moved and didn't have them available yet. I should have asked but I'm so used to getting them automatically with...
Read moreMy husband and I came from out of town to take my parents out to lunch. It was our first time and my mom was excited to show my husband all of the wall decor he is a hunter so that was exciting for her. It was my mom's birthday which was the occasion we were there. We thought we wanted to sit at a table but when we sat there for a few minutes we decided to move to a booth if it was available, because my husband has back issues and my dad was uncomfortable in the chair. We let our waitress know that we wanted to move to a booth and she rudely responded " I thought you wanted to sit at a table!" That was the first of what the rest of the lunch was going be like. She seemed to have a bad attitude from that point on. We asked for waters while we were trying to decide on what to order, asked about the special of the day and was told " you have to order a drink with the special, not just water" we hadn't even decided on what to order yet, let alone drinks. We weren't told about any of the specials, but noticed them posted near the restrooms when we first got there. Again, this was our first experience at this establishment, so we weren't familiar with the menu options. Our waitress Rhonda took our order and food was served fairly quickly. Upon finishing our meals, our waitress walked by 3 different times, while my father tried to get her attention to get a to go box. Finally, she came back with 1 box and we had to ask again for boxes for 2 other meals. I understand people have bad days, but when we were here for my mom's birthday and the waitress acts like this, it's hard not to leave a poor review. I hope this was just an isolated incident that can be corrected...
