I’ve not been since I was a young child and knew my parents used to love it so I decided to give it a shot today. The restaurant had a very cool and cozy look but a little run down. I went to own the door which was locked (two ish hours before close) I deduced that they were drive through only but there were no signs to indicate this. Putting up a sign that says drive through only after Xpm would be very helpful. I went through the drive through which was an awkward shape but I’m not picky by any means. The menu was simple and to the point but did lack any descriptions as to what came on/with things. The lady who took my order was incredibly sweet and wholesome. I got a sweet tea, a “Super Pig” sandwich and a side of coleslaw and baked beans. The sweet tea was perfect, the slaw and beans were both prepared well but both were rather tasteless and needed some sugar and brown sugar respectively. The bun on the sandwich was good but the pulled pork was very wet and sloppy, it had a good classic smokey aftertaste but that’s about it. Still not clear on what designates this as the “super pig” vs the pig. Assuming it’s just the size because my sandwich came with nothing but pork on it. I decided to put the slaw and beans on my sandwich which was good but still wasn’t all that flavorful. I paid $11 for my meal ($15) after tip. Although this wasn’t the best meal I’ve had for the price I would still definitely recommend this place and will be back one day.

Wanted to try something local and was told their food was good. I was very very disappointed. I ordered 2 rib plates with baked beans and potato salad on both, 2 sweet teas and a peach cobbler. That was $37...I ate it because I was starving. I didn't take a pic of the food. But they put the sides in small cups...probably for portion control. The beans tasted like pork n beans... they could've bought Busch's and they would've been better. The potato salad is weird, its made with sour cream and they cut potatoes in circles. My aunt said the ribs tasted day old... not fresh. They were tender. They gave us an untoasted hamburger bun. The peach cobbler was very bad. They don't fill up the container, but that's fine. Cause again... they could've bought a Marie Callender pie and it would've been better. The best thing I had was the sweet tea. And my server was very nice and helpful.

I pass this location often traveling to Macon and a lot of ppl have recommended I needed to stop. I went through the drive thru. The young lady at the window didn’t seem to be having a good day but she got my order right. I got the cheeseburger w/just cheese, mayo and ketchup. It had so much pepper on it I got heartburn. It probably would have been good if it weren’t for that and all the mayo slapped on. The crinkle cut fries were hot, fresh and saltless. No seasoning of any kind to be found just a hot plain fry (I was sad). I paid $10 for my meal (I got a drink) and for me it was very disappointing. May try another location if I pass it. I always recommend try it once. My taste buds are a little picky. I could have went on a bad day.

I visited the gray hwy location. This was my first time trying Fincher's but I was buying for a group and they all raved about it so I definitely had to try it. The biggest complaint/recommendation that I have is that they need to post an online menu that is specific to each location. The problem I ran into was that the group used the online menu to place their orders but when I arrived to order, most everything I mentioned to order, I was told that it was not offered at that location. No biggie, just specify that on the website. The staff was super friendly and it was extremely busy but they were getting the orders out just as fast as they were coming in. The cashier was very helpful in explaining the menu and clarifying which location was actually representative of the online menu. First time trying the BBQ, for me it was just okay, I wasn't wowed and I've definitely had better. The food was hot and delicious but I can't personally brag on the taste like the others in my group. I would definitely try it again, probably at the Houston rd location just so that I can try the pulled chicken and other items not offered at the gray hwy location. It seems to be a city favorite when it comes to BBQ. Try it and see...
