Love my Kroger stores. This one is located in area that can be a bit difficult getting in and out of. Parking is always available, but you might have to hunt for a space, and park far out. Plenty of fresh produce, meats and dairy to choose from. Most of the shelves were stocked, and I found very few items that they were out of. Friendly staff, but they seem understaffed. I waited for 15 minutes in the meat department for service. I finally left. Only one person there working and he was busy. Big grip today is a lot of the meats did not have pricing marked on them. I complained to the store manager and he told me that the prices should be on the shelves below the meat. I looked and there were no prices ( see picture).

This is a very small and outdated Kroger. The photos on google actually show various other Kroger’s that are larger and newer and better stocked. The produce quality and selection here is depressing. I am uploading a photo of an onion my husband purchased here. It looked okay on the outside....but it was rotten to the core. Unfortunately, this is my closest location so I come here frequently. It gets quite crowded, so I don’t understand why it hasn’t been expanded yet. As far as the produce goes, idk what the excuse is.

This is a small Kroger, though still large in size. Its been there for as long as I can remember. During the commute home, traffic is avoided by fitting in the shopping there as its right at the I- 16/75 exit. It is the most convenient with prices often less than Hartley and Hwy 96 as the sales may be better. The gallon milk was $1.99 there while $2/$5 at another location.

I went to this Kroger this morning, 7/8/15, early before work (8 AM-ish) and picked up a few groceries. I was OK until I tried to check out at one of the self-service registers. Instead of placing my groceries after scanning them up onto the shelf, I began putting them in my basket instead. The register voice said something about putting the items in the scanning area. I muttered, "Oh, shut up." Apparently, this offended the attendant who was standing approximately ten feet away. She barked at me, "Ma'am! Ma'am! Put your items on the shelf! Ma'am! Ma'am!" Her ugly tone took me completely by surprise so I stood still and looked at her, baffled. She came over to my basket and motioned for all of the things to go onto the shelf. "Put everything on that shelf!" I wish I had just come to my senses and simply left everything and walked out. Instead, I obeyed and took everything out of my basket and put it up on the scanned items shelf and finished the transaction but not without a hitch from the machine. The attendant barked some instructions at me. By this time, I was very upset. As I was leaving, she said, "Have a nice day, ma'am," in a tone that was only slightly less sharp; more sarcastic than anything. I looked back and said to her, "Yeah, right!" in a tone that told her that her well wishes weren't fooling anyone. Apparently, her barking had caught the attention of a few of her co-workers. I won't do self-service check-out again. The attendants either ignore you when the registers bawl out a problem or they act put-out. Once in a great while, there is someone manning that section who knows they are there to do a job and not to speak to the customer...

The Absolutely the worst Kroger (North Ave) in Macon and Surrounding area; The Deli is Absolutely Awful; there are not a wide variety of Healthy Food Choices at this Kroger ( I think this is based on Demographics of the area, That is blantantly Basis), (The Restrooms are Horrible and always Nasty and uncleaned) Every other Kroger in Macon and the Surrounding Areas are Better by far, it's not even close; The employees will not cook fresh (Chicken) food when asked, instead they insist that you choose and purchase the old dry chicken has to be sold first, the rotisserie chicken often look burnt and over cooked, I talked to the manager, he often seems not concerned or uninterested and never rectify the situation or complaints, They had a hard worker and very customer friendly florist (Mrs. B J.) she suddenly transferred after 30 Years, the one they have now there insists on you purchase the flowers first before she do any arrangements, and then tells customers that's company policy; which is not true, I asked the Store Manager about this Supposedly Company Policy he seems dumbfounded and acts like he's unsure of Company Policy and Procedures, I feel like Store has gradually went down and the store product has become mediocre, they just put anything out there and expect people to accept it and buy, I'm going to other places where the product and customer service is up to standard...

Well I wish they had more handicap parking closer to the door. Y'all are so busy all the time have to drive around the parking lot for about ten minutes or longer and then you still might not get close enough. But other than that it's ok the cashiers are always nice. Now the young boy's y'all have working for you should help older people like me with there gorgeous that are heavy. Without you having to ask them and sometimes I ask and they act like they don't here you. Me being. me I say excuse me will you please help me with my groceries. I buy cases of water and Coke's. At a time. I have to ask customer's to help me get them in the bugie. The cashiers are doing their job but them stock boy's well thay could be doing something other than standing around in the meat department You ask them were something is and they never ever know. They should know about were thing's are if they stock are when they are standing around doing nothing they should be learning were thing's are. Time's have really changed. This new generation if you don't ask they want offer to help you. Back in my day That would not fly. We were taught that you always Help the elder's. Don't make them have to ask you. Thats the way I was raised. Respect...
