Let me first state that I came to this establishment on behalf of my mom. She had order a family chicken bucket and requested an extra side of mash potatoes and 4 extra biscuits. They forgot to include the extra orders. My mom called the manager, who stated that if she came back with the receipt she would be able to get the food that was not included. This happened Oct. 22nd.
Today when I went to get a small coleslaw, my mom asked if I would get the food they had forgotten the first time. She also asked if I could ask them to exchange the mash potatoes for another coleslaw since we did not need mash potatoes for the planned meal. So I went into the restaurant and explained exactly what I just explained to you to the cashier. She looks at me with a glassy-eyed stare, and simply states, "I don't know. I haven't been to work in a week. I just came back." We stared at each other for a little. I ask if there was anyone else who can help. She then motioned to a manager who just so happened to be walking into the work area.
I reexplained the situation to the manager. She asked what manager did I speak to. I didn't know, so I just said, "Not sure. But I have the receipt, the time, and the manager spoken with did say she would write the name down so that can be checked as well." She disregards what I said, and asks when this happened. I told her October 22nd. She then walks off and presumably starts redoing the order. The cashier asked if I had another order, and I informed her of my small coleslaw, which she did ring up. I then informed her that I wanted to ask if I could change out the mash potato in the replacement order or if the order needed to be kept the same since it was a replacement.
She looked at me, glassy-eyed, "I don't know. I was gone for a week. I just got back." Figuring I wouldn't get anywhere with her, I waited for the manager to come back. She did eventually with the missing order, and I asked her about the replacement. She looks at me, and states dismissively, "No the order has to be kept the same. We are replacing this for free-" I interrupt her at this point, and ask if I can get another coleslaw. She quickly does the ring up, and walks off, hands me another coleslaw and turns to another customer.
I pack the food and leave.
I don't expect a lot from restaurant workers. I don't expect Chik-fil-A level of service. But I do expect not to be treated like a nuisance. And recall, this was done in lieu of my mom. Would they have been as rude if my mom was there? The evidence points towards yes, and that is truly appalling. I don't know what their issue was, but since I was treated like a nuisance I figured I might as well follow through and do the next nuisance thing and write a nasty review.
TLDR? The service here is appalling. Unless you're just looking to be treated like the gum on the back of somebodies shoe, I would recommend a...
Read moreLast night after I got of work, I decided to take the family out for dinner. I thought well, I haven't had KFC in awhile we should go there. My wife agreed, and so we went. When we arrived, my wife went in with the kids to get seated while I used the restroom. I walked into the restroom and slipped ,landing on my tailbone. There was no wet floor signs anywhere! I walked out went straight to the counter to notify the manager on the floor, and was laughed at about the incident by another employee. The manager checked the restroom and came out blaming it on my shoes I had on, which have a high no slip rating btw. I told her, it is not my shoes and showed her demonstrating on the main floor which is the same as in the restrooms. They are not slick. Then took her into the men's room and showed her again how they were slipping on the wet floor. All the while the employee continued to laugh at me in front of my family, and a couple other customers. It wasn't until after I decided to leave, that the manager offered a incident report. I have been hurt, disrespected, and called a liar all in one night. Contacted corporate and have yet to recieve a response. This...
Read moreI do not usually leave reviews especially bad ones but this affected other people than just myself. I ordered from this kfc through DoorDash. My poor dasher sat there for over 45 minutes waiting on my family’s food. First they told her they forgot about my order. She said they were just playing around behind the counter and it wasn’t almost closing time or anything like that. Later after more waiting they told her DoorDash had already picked it up which was a lie because she’d be sitting there waiting for it for almost an hour(and I never got it delivered so it’s not like another dasher delivered it to me.) I tried calling this kfc twice but nobody answered. I had to cancel my order. This waiting also made my dasher late for her other orders. So, this messed up my family’s dinner, my dasher’s business, and the other peoples’ dinner she was late in picking up and delivering because of kfc staff. The food is fine, the service is pathetic and childish. I’m sorry nice...
