Waffle House — Restaurant in Macon

Only 2 other tables were occupied when we came in. We came in and waited a long time, over 20 minutes, for service. We made an All star order and a 2 egg breakfast. Nothing special. Just grits and o/m eggs. We told the server I was hard of hearing and then he started whispering and never came back to my table. After an hour and a half, (and the same 2 other tables were there) we never got out meat, drinks, silverware, napkins, butter, syrup. When we asked if we could have a fork the cook yelled from across the room that they were busy. We said it was ok... just watching our food go cold.. after a total of an hour and a half the server came up and said he didn't charge us for our drinks. Ok, but I'm still thirsty. I was charged $17 even and still wated 20 minutes to get my debit card back.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent visit to this establishment. As someone who had high hopes for enjoying a good breakfast before work, I was profoundly disappointed by the experience I received.

Upon arrival, the seat next to mine was unclean. I had to request twice for it to be cleaned, and on the second request, the server, Destiny, responded with an attitude. Furthermore, Destiny did not return to check on me during my meal. I was provided with sticky syrup, no jelly for my bread, and my food was slid through the unclean area beside me. Additionally, the bacon was burnt, and the eggs were overcooked.

This experience was far below the standard I expected, and I will not be returning to...

This place deserves a negative star not a one star. Staff was not friendly at all. Not the welcoming type of restaurant at all. Never even sat down to eat because there were no clean tables and the staff wasn’t even attempting to try and clean. When I asked one server if I could sit at the bar the server asked another server and that server said she was off the clock, by that time I just said forget it and left, obviously they really didn’t want to work.
