As someone who adores sushi, I was eager to introduce my sushi-skeptic friend to the wonders of this cuisine at Rock N Roll Sushi in Macon. I'm delighted to report it was a resounding success!
From the moment we stepped in during the lunch rush, the lively, music-filled atmosphere set the fun, vibrant tone. While the tunes were a bit loud for my personal taste, I can appreciate how it added to the rock n roll themed vibe.
What really shined, however, was the incredibly fast service and the outstanding quality of the sushi itself. Our orders arrived at our table in what felt like the blink of an eye - always appreciated during a tight lunch window.
The presentation was Instagram-worthy and the flavors were an absolute delight. I savored my old favorites while my friend was blown away by how much he enjoyed his first sushi experience, shocked at how flavorful and fresh it all tasted.
Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or a newcomer to this style of dining, Rock N Roll Sushi is a must-visit spot. The inexpensive prices, energizing ambiance, and top-notch sushi make it an unbeatable lunch or dinner option. I'll absolutely be returning to rock out with more of their...
Read moreI have been to one in Warner Robins and I will say that one was better. The food at this location wasn’t the best but I enjoy rock music so the atmosphere was enjoyable.
My gf and I started off with the Crispy Wontons. The wontons could’ve been fried a little longer and they could be filled more. The sauce served with it was tasty so it paired nicely. I got 2 sushi rolls, a Spicy Tuna and a Sweet Home Alabama roll. The Spicy Tuna was alright I have definitely had better. The cuts on the roll were really inconsistent and some were so big I should have ate in 2 bites. The Sweet Home Alabama roll was ok. I enjoyed the crunch ontop from the flakes but these cuts were also really inconsistent. Some were way too big to be eating at once and others were decently sized. My gf got the Fillet Mignon hibachi and that wasn’t the best either. Her rice did not taste good, the vegetables covered in sauce didn’t taste good either. Her fillet was overcooked and was average in flavor.
I have been to numerous sushi spots and I can say this location is in last place. The price we paid for was not reflected in the food and filled with...
Read moreHi guys, I’m back with another review and if you love sushi I know you can’t to hear about this. This was my first time at this establishment and I really wish that I would’ve dined in. I would love to give this place a five star review but I couldn’t for several reasons. First thing first, the atmosphere was amazing, cool laid back spot, friendly workers and I suppose fast service. When placing my order, Brenay was very kind. She asked for my number so I assumed they would call when our food was done. They did not. I ordered the basic California roll and The VIP roll which was fried. Unfortunately my roll was soggy because well we never got a call or text. The overall flavor was amazing though! I just wish we’d gotten it in time to taste that crunch 🤤 sooo the food I would give an honest 10 minus the softness and the overall service would have to be given an 8.5 but I will definitely go back! Thanks, Sunny out! Oh also I did do a video showing how mushy my food was and the presentation, it was leaking out and I was like umm ewww but overall it...
