To Whom It May Concern,
I have been a frequent customer at your Subway location for the past few weeks, typically stopping by for a sandwich. However, my experience has consistently been frustrating due to the lengthy wait times. On multiple occasions, I have had to wait 5 to 10 minutes before being acknowledged because employees are often in the back. While I understand that traffic may be low at 10 AM, this level of service is unacceptable.
This morning, I encountered an unprofessional and disrespectful interaction that has compelled me to voice my dissatisfaction. As I entered the store and attempted to find someone to assist me, I was rudely told to "slow your roll" by the manager. This is a practice I started because I do not have the time to wait 10 minutes, nor do I wish to shout to get attention. There is no bell or button to notify employees that a customer is waiting.
Rather than a polite greeting or an assurance that I would be helped shortly, I was met with rudeness. I explained my situation, but was again told to "slow your roll." I then observed the employee designated to assist me was leisurely eating a sandwich instead of attending to customers.
I waited another minute before deciding to leave. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable. I informed them that their lack of urgency would result in lost business, but this warning was evidently ignored.
Consequently, you have lost my business. I will now be patronizing the Bakery 2 Go at the Macon Farmers Market, where the products are superior and the staff far...
Read moreStopped in for gas and some Subway while traveling with our travel trailer. As I walk in to grab food for my family. One employee is sitting in a chair complaining about how, “if they don’t have bread then they should drive to another Subway.” As I walk to order no one greeted me so I said, “I guess there is no bread!?” “No ma’am you can order a salad.” So I said, “no thanks it’s a little hard to go to another Subway while traveling in a travel trailer!” So my husband walks in after the bathroom not knowing what happened and asked the same thing. He was told they had no bread. Then he pointed out the bread behind her but apparently that needed to wait 30 minutes. But we weren’t offered the wait for it to be ready or the flatbread that looked available. Looks like you should stop complaining about customers that expect bread at Subway, because ya know it’s ‘Sub’way! And keep on track with when bread should be made and kept up on it! Highly unprofessional! Just thought the management should know. (Hope that wasn’t the management!) Glad we don’t live near by and will never stop to that one when...
Read moreHow do you run out of bread at 6:30? Someone had to notice and just didn't care enough to start getting any ready. Totally unacceptable
Update: They have definitely improved since my last review. I avoided going to that location for a couple of months but then finally broke down due to the convenience of the location. While they were extremely slow at least they had bread and weren't closing early anymore. I can definitely forgive the slowness as it was obvious they were in the process of training new employees. For now I will move them back to a 3 star and will hopefully soon be able to go even higher once the...
