Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Macon

A group of people from work decided to go here for lunch. I am visiting from out of town and we do not have a Chick-fil-A that is very close to us. My food was delicious. I got the chicken sandwich. Even though it was fried, it was just so delicate and light. Very good. The Half & Half Tea was mixed perfectly. And they didn't bat an eye when I requested it. Even though it was lunch rush the place was still clean. And I didn't have to wait long for my food at all. The staff was extremely friendly. I have to say that they go above and beyond. While enjoying my lunch I accidentally somehow I don't know dropped my wallet at some point. I came back later that night and the staff did not know where it was. Or even if it was there. Understandable, it was during the dinner rush. The same shift people might not have been there. All very reasonable. I was bummed, but left my name and number in case someone turned it in later. The next day I got a call from them saying that someone had in fact turned in my wallet and it was in their safe!!! I was so happy! I went in and collected my wallet a couple of hours later. Everything was still in there, including my cash!!! What a lifesaver! I was amazed at how helpful everyone was. And the honesty is just astounding and refreshing. Definitely a spot I would stop by every time I go to your town. But probably only with cash, LOL. I don't think I thanked the staff enough for reuniting me with my wallet. Thank you to everyone at that Chick-fil-A. I did not get the names of the people that helped me and I wish I did so that I can name them. I am thankful to...

I love chic fil a they are family oriented and that is very hard to find, two thumbs up, this is still my favorite place but due to covic19 they've had to modify their practice: so I entered the parking lot and saw the sign to drive around the building to enter the drive through, I did this and the lot was dark and I looked like they were closed i passed the order markee, but backed up to it. I then asked were they closed ...no answer ther was a car ahead of me. So I followed it to the window to see what was going on....the guy said you didn't order at the markee sign i said no I tried i said something 3 times...nobody answered 😒 So I drove around 🙄 he takes my order and out of the blue this short girl walks up and says " and next time you come here go all the way around and dont try to back up into the line , i said I did but she just walked away.....rude!I ordered strips and was given nuggets and my lemonade taste like it was watered down....they purposely jaked up my order...i did talk to a manager Matt and he apologized and said he would send me some coupons to make me feel better but this was without the knowledge that my food had been sabatoged.....i have never had such poor service from a chick fil la i feel like i was given what was left and told something to get me off the phone ....i won't be going back and I will be calling...

For the first time in forever Chick-fil-A has upset me today ( 8-19-21 ) Now I understand that a staff shortage has been going on at many places around the country and I can respect that, but what I can not respect is walking into a place expecting to order food and not getting any service at all. I walked in as drive thru was way long and I was promptly greeted. I got in the Que line and proceeded to check out the menu while I wait to be asked about my order. I know I spoke with 2 employees that greeted and at least 2 more behind the counter. After about 1 minute I noticed a sign on counter saying that the counter is closed due to staff shortage. You would think at least 1 employee could have told me so I didn't waste my time. It baffles me how a shortage is going on and yet a young lady was sweeping a closed dinning room area? Seems like her skills could be put to use behind the counter or at least telling people it is Drive-thru only. SMH

Old review: Always delicious and probably the most polite employees of all fast food. Other places should definitely take note of how customer service is done here as...
