My mother and I went here to eat lunch(who’s visiting out of state to see me)we stopped by,parked soon as we got out we were greeted by a older woman in a purple jacket. who asked if we could help her get food. I wasn’t willing too because of cons but my mother was. We walk in talk to the host about getting her a plate she says it’s fine. The host pulls me to the side to let me know the customer has had troubles here so to be careful and watch closely. When I heard this I went up to where you were billed to speak to the manager and let him know whatever she brings up make sure it’s a pound bc that is what we will pay nothing more. Bc I didn’t want to be overcharged. The boss cut me off as I tried to make my point. But after all the interruptions he said he understood and he’d take care of it. So I went to the bathroom as soon as I got out my mom showed me a receipt of 20 dollars, and was told by an employee that she had left with a lot of food. I speak to the same manager before and asked why I was being charged his answer was bc that was the weight and price. (Mind you there’s some type of language barrier because this man doesn’t speak fluent english. which I understand bc my mother is Filipino which is why I was doing the talking in the first place)I told him that’s why I came to speak to you earlier bc I didn’t want to to get overcharged.I tried explaining but of course again he cuts me off bc of customers waiting and no employees around to seat them. So I wasn’t waiting on him anymore. How bout you deal with a problem first before hoping to the next?He ended up paying for what she stole. my mother ate her meal and enjoyed the food. The host came and apologized and was very sincere which I appreciated.wasnt even mad about the food stolen. Yes it could have been avoided if my mom didn’t pay her food but she thought she was helping.and I wasn’t about to follow a woman around watching her every move like she was a criminal bc that’s not my judgement to call. (Even tho she was)I believed I could speak to management and He would have been able to handle it. Guess not. But my problem was with the manager. This all could have been avoided if he wasn’t so dismissive, and just listened the first time. But he didn’t care bc it wasn’t his money. Typical huh?great place to eat and good employees but the...
Read moreTotal joke of a restaurant. The hostess sat us, got our drink order, brought them to our table and asked my children's ages (3, 6 & 9). After 20 minutes or so a male checked on us. 30 minutes later a female checked on us and we asked for the check. She returned with it and rather then leaving it and walking away she stood right there and said "tip not included" as she pointed to the receipt. Then she watched my husband sign it, and repeated "I said tip not included". He responded back with "yeah I know". He stood up and began putting a jacket on our daughter, and she moved closer as if she was blocking him from walking away and with an attitude said "really no tip? You not gonna leave no tip?", Then grabbed the receipt book and shoved it in her apron, started picking up our silverware and throwing it in the glasses and snatching plates as she mumbled something where we couldn't hear her. She walked up behind us as we were walking away and said something else and when I turned around she went into the kitchen. She didn't deserve a tip by any means considering she was not who waited on us, but I do not tip on my card EVER and she confronted us angrily about a tip before we were even ready to get up. Had she given us our receipt and even stood off to the side she would have had at minimum 10% in cash on the table. Not to mention they advertise dinner as $13.99 for adults, $4.99 for the 3 year old, 6.99 for my 6 year old, and 9.99 for my 9 year old but our bill was $75 for the 5 of us to eat cold, hard food with not very much selection as...
Read moreI am appalled that this bug-infested establishment is still in operation. I recently visited your restaurant to pick up a takeout order on behalf of someone else. Upon arriving at the register, I used Apple Pay to complete the $17.87 transaction. The charge was immediately deducted from my account, as confirmed by my transaction history.
However, the cashier insisted the payment had not gone through. I calmly showed proof of payment, at which point he stated he needed to get the manager. As I observed, the manager approached visibly agitated and immediately dismissed my concerns without even reviewing the evidence I was trying to show her. She continuously cut me off mid-sentence and kept repeating that no payment had been received.
We went back and forth, as I was not about to be charged twice. I stepped aside for a moment and noticed the manager doing something with the payment terminal. Shortly afterward, without explanation or apology, the funds were suddenly returned to my account—clearly indicating an error on their end.
Aside from the completely unprofessional behavior and the blatant lack of customer service, the overall condition of the restaurant was disturbing. The environment was filthy, and it’s hard to understand how this place is still allowed to operate given the visible signs of neglect and the countless low reviews online. I will never return, and I strongly urge the health department to re-evaluate this establishment...
