The best of the best of the BEST when it comes to Vietnamese food in Michigan, hands down. I cannot even tell you how many other places I have tried, but Pho Hang is absolutely #1.
This was the very first place I went to try Vietnamese food. My dear friend I used to work with brought me here. He had moved here from Vietnam with his family only a couple of years prior and he said this was the real deal, most authentic Vietnamese food you can possibly get outside of being invited to a Vietnamese family dinner. After having had many a family cooked Vietnamese dinner, and having tried many other Vietnamese restaurants around Michigan, I swear to you this is the absolute best.
If you're looking for REAL Vietnamese food, that delicious, fresh, yet robust harmony of flavors, and you're continuously disappointed by restaurant after restaurant "Americanizing" their flavors and dulling them down, look no further than Pho Hang. You will NOT be disappointed! Packed with flavor, freshness, and...
Read moreI try 2 go 2 resturants based on good reviews. Me & my fianc'e dined in last night for the 1st & last time. On the table there was an empty container of chili sauce & half empty fish sauce, they were nasty, full finger prints & sticky from the previous people that dined in. I gave it 2 the man that brung our food 2 the table, he took it & gave us another nasty half empty 1 from the next table over. I asked 4 some water the other waiter pointed 2 small bottled waters that were sitting next 2 us that was warm in the window ledge & it was a warm day & no ice was offered. The bathroom was nasty as we noticed upon leaving. I would h8 to see what the kitchen looks like. It was near closing for all resturants in the area. I just prayed we didn't get sick. The owner should focus more on the cleaniness of the resturant instead of stopping @ tables 2 talk loudly & laugh with his friends that visit. The pho was also...
Read moreI ate here about 7-10 years ago and I found this place to be the worst one in town. Then I came here yesterday only because I just found out that many pho restaurants aren't open on Mondays...and after all these years it still isn't good! I'm not sure how they're able to stay in business and I'm not sure how this restaurant got 4.0 stars in the first place. Was served old, under cooked food. Ordered the "popular" rice dish #59 and the rice was under cooked, the pork chops were stiff, the quiche egg tasted like it was microwaved and not fresh. I ordered vermicelli for take out and had to throw the noodles away because they had a weird/old consistency taste to it. It didn't taste right at all. I had to cook my own vermicelli noodles instead. Waste of money. Stay away...
