Don't waste your money on the coconut rice. It tastes very bland so you might as well save the money and order plain rice with your dish. I've been here several times before and the customer service was ok, however this time it was completely horrible. The server was a woman who had an attitude towards me upon asking about the lack of flavor in the coconut rice. I just have to mention that I'm actually pretty darn nice to everyone I meet so just making sure it's clear that I did nothing to provoke said response. I also gave this place a one star rating because while the avocado boba tea and coconut pudding are to die for here, they have increased the price several times over the years for the coconut pudding. It went from being $6 to $7 $8 and $8.50. It's very easy to make, and other Asian markets and restaurants around here charge less. Very disappointed and I'm very dissatisfied. I refuse to...
Read moreI got food poisoning eating from this place! I have been to this restaurant a couple of times over the past few years.Being a malaysian myself i was happy to have found a malaysian restaurant but the restaurant owner that serves has been more rude over the years. She is very unfriendly. I brought my son for dinner and i had Beef Chow Fun and my son had Won Ton Noodle Soup. That night i suffered from severe tummy ache, vomiting and diarrhea. Their atmosphere is very minimal and they didn’t even bother to refill our glass of water or check on us. The host is very unfriendly and her portions of food and prices are ridiculous for that kind of restaurant atmosphere. The portion are very less and you will have to end up buying two or three items just to have a decent lunch. It’s not worth it at all and i will not recommend this...
Read moreOrdered Fresh Young Coconut ($5.95), Roti Canai ($5.25), Satay Beef ($9.95), Asam Laksa ($12.95), Cantonese Chow Fun ($11.95), Beef Rendang w. Rice ($14.95), Pulut Hitam ($5.5). Roti Canai is good but could be crispier. Beef Rendang has relatively small portion for a main dish and only had 6 piece of meats. Cantonese Chow Fun turned better than anticipated. Asam Laksa has good flavor and nice rice noodles but not much protein. Overall, I was exciting too see many dishes listed on the menu that were hard to get within the state and will be interested in trying other items in the future. However, my friends were bothered with the bathrooms and were not given the full itemized receipt before payment (paid at the counter on the way out); thus 4 stars. Looking forward to seeing improvements in this in...
