Red Oaks Waterpark — Attraction in Madison Heights

Red Oaks Waterpark exceeded all my expectations and provided the perfect summer getaway for me and my family. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience.

Excellent Service: The staff at Red Oaks Waterpark were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. Clean and Well-Maintained: The entire waterpark was immaculately clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. It was evident that they take great pride in keeping the park in top-notch condition. I have been to 4 water parks the last 3 years and one thing I noticed --- NO BANDAIDS. Staff were walking around picking up trash constantly. The place was very clean. The life GUARDS were on POINT! CONSTANTLY scanning the wave pool and several dive ins to rescue swimmers. They were on the ball!

We went on a Tuesday where grabbing a lawn chair and a picnic table was easy. Very large area to lounge on the patios or in the grass. GRILLS are provided.

The water is beautifully dyed blue and very clean in the wave pool. There are tubes available to float around and crash the waves in.

You can take tubes in the heated lazy river. It was nice.

There's a splash/kiddy play area.

There are 3 large slides (no tubes on them) and single riders. One of the slides was out of order.

Bathrooms were pretty clean and managed frequently.

There Is a place to purchase food or drinks inside.

They do check your coolers for alcohol and no smoking inside.

We had a wonderful day. It was very clean and staff were friendly.

Only one suggestion to consider --smoking session is very close to the exit. Perhaps a bit further to protect non-smokers?

I've lived in Michigan my entire life and for the past few years I haven't been able to get into this park cause it's always overcrowded and at capacity very early in the day . I like coming around 3 or 4 cause that's when it gets the hottest part of the day ..they open at 11 it don't be very hot around that time . Everytime I have tried to go over the years have been hit at capacity around 1pm making it impossible to visit this park because it's one of the more popular water parks in the area so everybody & their mama's just flocks here in gangs & gangs of ppl they take up all the BBQ pits all the seating areas up..then they changed the kiddie splash area its small now as I can see from the outside of the fence ...tickets are 26 dollars per person which is very expensive for a family that has multiple children ..for all of these reasons I go to the other oakland county water park which is located in Waterford..its smaller but more peaceful less smaller crowds than this one ...I won't even attempt to come here anymore if everytime I do come they're at capacity and we're turned away almost...
