I go to this place nearly every day for a Diet Coke and sometimes some other things. This Burger King has some of the chillest employees out of all the fast food places in that area, and they are also nice and considerate. One of them is always particularly nice to my kids when I come through with them. She's usually there in the mornings. Another one, a dude with anime tattoos, greets me by name. One of the managers was just really nice about it when I got mad about not getting a cheeseburger that I thought I ordered and didn't. And several times, over the course of many years, I've told different employees that they gave me a regular Coke instead of Diet. They usually will have me test out the second drink and try to get it fixed right away.
The food is good here, too. None of the surrounding fast food restaurants do better fries, or better frozen Cokes. This Burger King puts the frozen drinks in paper cups so they hold cold better than the plastic ones from McDonald's. Their chocolate chip cookies, when they're fresh, blow all the other desserts at other fast good places' desserts out of the water.
I could probably do without being told, "Welcome to Burger King, where you rule." If ever a 'Burger King Land' amusement park is opened, I will go there and enjoy being told that. Read moreI went to Burger King last Thursday. I went to the bathroom, to clean my glasses and to use the urinal. Two minutes later, an employee came in to look at the toilet. The toilet was covered in facies. He took one look at me and said you cant make this mess and leave that is vandalism. I said in a calm voice that It was not me that made the mess. He responded my saying "I know it was not you but you were the last one here" Hmmm. Blaming me just because i was the last one in the bathroom. So does that mean if there was one hundred people waiting to use the bathroom and since the one-hundredth person there could of also be accused of vandalism. He back tracked really fast on his word. Saying that he knew it was not me,and somehow that I was the last one there it leaves me held responsible. I had to clean up poop off the floor. A mess that I did not make and had no responsibility for. Congratulations, you just lost a customer for a very long time. Needless to say, I was going to order something. I just needed to use the restroom first. This is despicable. Even if this did not happen in the bathroom, accusing somebody of vandalism is extremely serious. He has no idea how serious this is. None. Zero. He took one look at me and automatically assumed it was me, it witch how would I know that there was poop their when I just entered the bathroom at the same time the employee did. Today's experience with Burger King was utterly appalling! I don't usually write about negative experiences but this was concerning. We ordered a drive through order for Double Whopper and Original Chicken Sandwich, but what we got was a health hazard. My husband bit into the chicken sandwich and found "MOLDY BREAD" Yes, you read that right - mold growing on the bread. It's unthinkable that Burger King could use expired products and also an employee could be so negligent and careless.
We're shocked, disgusted, and still trying to process how this could happen at such a big franchise. The lack of quality control and basic hygiene is staggering. We're lucky my husband noticed before taking another bite.
The experience was a perfect storm of:
Poor quality products (moldy bread) Lack of attention from employees (no one checked the food before serving) Health hazard (moldy bread is a serious food safety issue)
Avoid Burger King at all costs until they take serious action to address their quality and cleanliness issues. Unacceptable, Burger King
Additionally, we're disappointed and disgusted by the lack of care and attention to detail. It's clear that the employees are not trained properly, and the management is not doing enough to ensure customer safety.
Until they take concrete steps to improve their quality and cleanliness, we'll be taking our business elsewhere.
