Caffe Aronne — Restaurant in Madison

I am so excited for a more healthy option to come to Madison. I've been making my own shakes and coffee drinks at home with dates and bananas for years and am excited for their sugarless coffee drinks to emerge. I'm a little skeptical that they will actually be sugarless since all their other 'healthy' drinks that are currently on their menu contain some sort of syrup/sugar, but I'm excited to see. Unfortunately I couldn't give them 5 stars because I was underwhelmed with their service. The lady did her job, but that's it. She wore earbuds, was not excited to answer my questions, and acted as if we weren't there after I placed my order.....even though we were the only ones in the cafe the entire time. I came once before and wasn't impressed. I ordered caffeine latte which was cold and I didn't bother asking to heat it up. Today was a different experience with James who went above & beyond offering extra service, adding foam to my coffee and he made sure it was hot and really helped change my mind. Great place to have regular and special coffee drinks. Their coffee is strong. The staff is very welcoming. They have a cozy place to host events and people to have dates. People can sit there and sips their drinks as their spouses are shopping.
