This was 2/2/20. Last night. We have ordered from China Wok off and on for years. I just read in a review, that they have new owners. Now, I understand why the food is very mediocre. I did not want to write a review. I wanted to write an email to them personally. However, I looked for quite a while for an email, and could not find one. First of all, we ordered two shrimp lo miens, in addition to other things. Only one shrimp lo mien came. We did only pay for one. The general chicken. Can't remember the whole name was so breaded, very little chicken in it. The person said it was not good. The shrimp lo mien was bland. Now, the last time, it was good. This time bland. Now we always ask without MSG. Who knows if that happens. Now, I know the flavor wasn't because I did not have MSG in it, because the last time it was good, and supposedly no MSG in it. Then there was the egg rolls. The last time, I said to the people I was with, that this does not taste like the old egg rolls. Well, my sister thought maybe I accidentally ordered the spring rolls. Did not like them at all. Apparently, there are egg rolls, and we got them. Completely different from what I use to get there. These are smaller, outside was hard, and the inside was mushy. Horrible. When I read another review about yelling with the people that work there, that would also dissuade me from going there, or ordering again. After all these years, new owners take over, and as usual they will ruin it, and go out of business. We will not...
Read moreThey forgot the rice for our delivery order and when I called to resolve the issue I was interrogated instead of being helped. We always order from here. It's not great Chinese food, but it's good delivery. So on this occasion the food was delivered and then I noticed there was no rice container so I gave them a call. They seemed very confused when I called and had me double check the bag. Which, duh, I'm pretty sure I can see if there is a rice container in a small brown paper bag. It's not that difficult. I double checked. Still no rice. Then I was put on hold for a moment. The young girl came back and asked if I really wanted rice this time. Ummmm, yes. It's sort of a main part of Chinese food. I was also asked where we were located. I told them just up the road form their restaurant. Maybe a mile. Again I'm put on hold. She comes back and says the quickest they could get rice to us is a hour. Nope. What I would hope for is that they would say that they would run some right over OR at least discount my purchase or email me a coupon or something, but instead I got to pay for something I didn't receive and then use my own rice at home to make up for the rice that we did not receive with our meal. Disappointing all around. Customer service is key and in this case, the one time something went wrong here. I feel they showed their true weakness in making the customer happy. I'll try the other Chinese place across the street next time,...
Read moreNever get delivery. It takes forever and the food is cold (tried more than once). There were only two menu items I would order in the past ten years that had flavor and were not overly greasy, they have ruined both. Tonight is my last time ordering from them. General Tsos chicken tasted like the nasty sweet and sour chicken, as if I would not notice? The breading was not crisp and sauce flavorful instead it was soggy chicken that upset my stomach with sauce that reminded me of vomit. I had asked for extra broccoli previously and was told I would have to pay $7.99!! Tonight the broccoli was not drowned in sauce (cause it was the wrong sauce all together) and it was completely raw!! Tonight’s experience took it from a restaurant that was sometime ok-good to completely the worst Chinese I have...
