I have to say that this place is amazing! The first time I tried this place was in Tennessee and I ordered a special Culver's burger with bacon. It had two patties cooked perfectly and the burger had so much flavor! My taste buds were all over the place! The fries only other hand were bland to me. They needed something. I'm not sure what. Maybe they needed some seasoning or something. But that cheese burger though was amazing! I wish I had took pictures to show you what a beautiful and amazing burger it was. This next visit was in Madison Alabama and I decided to go out on a limb and try their cod fish sandwich. For my side this time I chose cheese curds in which I have never had before. The order taker was very helpful in helping me with the sides. I had to pull up and wait maybe 5 minutes. I was so excited because I knew my first visit was amazing! The sandwich was pretty good in size. It wasn't too big and it wasn't too small. Very well plated I have to say. It had tartar sauce with cheese shreds and lettuce shreds. The fish piece was very nice and crispy. The bun was a nice oblong bun. The sandwich was pleasing to the eye. While I viewed my sandwich I was popping those cheese curds in my mouth. They were so addictive. They were so delicious. Perfect flavor and the perfect amount of crunch and softness and gooey. I had to put them down just so I could taste my sandwich. Lol. My first bite in the sandwich was a little disappointing. I didn't taste much flavor. So I took a second and a third bite. I got some type of hot liquid oozing out the end of it. I'm sure it was probably water off of the fish or something. I still didn't get any flavor. So I removed the top part of my bun and exposed that nice crunchy piece of fish. I lifted the fish off of the bun and scraped some of the tartar sauce off and then came the flavor. I think the bun took away from the flavor some. It could be just the type of fish it is. But it was a little flavor and it was nice. The tartar sauce wasn't overly spiced or overly sweet. It was just fine. Perfect amount of lettuce and cheese. But I have to say I had to eat the piece of fish without the bun to grab some flavor. Will I come back? Yes definitely. Will I order the fish again? Maybe maybe not. I will definitely order that special Culver's cheeseburger with bacon though! This place has a lot of potential and seems like a great place to come for a date. You definitely have to try their special Culver's cheeseburger with bacon. It will tantalize...
Read moreFood was ok, they forgot the drinks, and then the shake. Saw 2 high schoolers who work there behind the service counter playing and slapping each other with their plastic gloves. In the sevice area for car deliveries there were at least 8 to 10 teenagers and when our shakes was forgotten the young man at the counter went over and pour it with all of those other kids there, why? We finally get all of our order, there were two teenage girls sitting near usl. They are both talking with 2 of the teenage boys who work behind the counter. The heavier dark hair boy sat down after they left. Anyway the girl came over to our table before she left and told my son who is 51 to be nicer to people. We did not know what she was talking about. My son took his strawberry shake back to the front and asked for more strawberry favor. The shake was lacking in color and favor, it looked nothing like your picture in the service area. The girl told my son it was hard to get that color with the product. My son thanked the young man who bought over the shake and my son was telling the guy, the girl said it was hard to get the color or favor in a Strawberry and thanked him for bringing it over. We drove 20 miles one way to go to your store and to have our dinner interrupt by this other customer was just wrong. My son call the store and ask to speak with a manager, the person on the end said she was a manager, she sounded very young too. I told what happened, she said she would look into it but did not think she could do anything. That is about right. There are just to many young teenagers working there and not enough older people. To much clowning around going on. I will say the tall young man with dirty blonde hair working at the counter was very personable, professional, polite and worked hard. Did not know his name, but liked his work ethics. I do not think we will ever return to that store again. Thank you...
Read more2nd time here tonight. 1st time may have been a 3/5 stars. Not sure I'll be back until they figure out the service aspect of the business.
Literally waited 30 minutes in the dining room before we asked the counter employees when we could expect our food. Two employees both said they couldn't tell us, that the kitchen was "way behind" and they had to stop letting people in the door because they couldn't fill orders. Meanwhile, the drive-thru kept flowing while 4 other employees gathered around the window. I've worked fast food, I know how it is. "Gotta get the drive-thru time down!"
At the 45-50 minute mark, we watched employees serve everyone else their food. Granted, they waited a while too but came in after us. My wife asked the counter why other people were getting food but not us. She was told it was because our order was too big. We had 2 adults and 3 kids...
Finally, I went to the counter for a refund so we could go somewhere else to eat. Three different employees walked by without acknowledgement. Finally, someone heard me and went to get a manager. The lady she spoke with sort of rolled her eyes when the hound lady spoke to her. She came over and was very nice, however. She said that she understood that we waited more than 20 minutes and could refund us. It was 50 minutes at that point. As she is refunding, the young man that took our order came over with a bag of food. He scoffed and asked her if she was refunding my money as he sat the bag down. They did offer a refund and the food as well, so that was nice.
I counted nearly at least 12 frontline and kitchen employees. Culver's needs to do better teaching how to prioritize customers as well as crosstraining them how to make orders rather than standing in the foyer on their cell phone telling people not to come in because...
