Starbucks — Restaurant in Madison

First off, their machine is broken extremely frequently, so you can't even get served.

Then, if you're like me and have severe reactions to dairy and need alternative milk, you get charged $0.70 extra (unfair but a corporate policy), and this place consistently underserves the amount of alternative milk compared to dairy milk. I know this because I order dairy drinks for others in my party, and their cups are fuller.

I have been going here for years for the convenience, but it's very frustrating to be overcharged for a medical issue (again, I get that it's from corporate) and then underserved on top of that.

Oh, and because it's inside a Kroger, you have to go through Kroger customer service to fix any funding or cancellation issues you run into (like when their machine breaks AGAIN and you've already paid for an order; the refund has to be done in person at the Kroger customer service desk). The people there need to work in their customer service and not cut somebody off when you are explaining what you want. If the people working their dont wanna be there then go home and learn how to fill the cup to the top and not fill it up with whip topping.

May 2 They are supposed to close at 7:00, got there at 5:45 lights were out and sign thats says they are closed. Why is this place still open. They close early. Always out of something, the espresso machine is always broke.

May 17 I don't know why this place is even opened! I was giving them another chance and wont make that mistake again! I did a mobile order at 9:45 am got there and there was a sign that said they didn't open until 10am. I waited and waited until 10:30. Nobody ever showed up so now im out not only my drinks. Stars and money. Never never again!!!

I have contact starbucks customer care and they dont care! This starbucks needs to get people in there that know how to make drinks and fill the cups to the top not...

This location is the one located in Kroger on Wal Triana. For months I have said I am going to leave a comment, but being in the food and beverage industry I have held off and tried to be understanding. But my Goodness. This is a Starbucks. Clearly you know people like coffee around here. How do you only have 1 person working on mornings. There is NO sense of urgency here. Heck even when you have more than 1 employee working it still takes too long. Now I get schedule issues, short staff, etc. But I myself have had to work extra hours and do stuff I didn’t want to do to ensure the CUSTOMERS were taken care of in a timely and well manner.
