@BigDudesBigFoods took a little trip to #MadisonNJ to get some tasty #SmashBurgers 🍔 and #cheesesteaks from a flavor filled #SmallBusiness called @FableNFlame #FableNFlame is in an old but clean, refurbished, diner on Madison’s iconic Main Street with an “Aesop’s Fables” themed decor and menu. Joe & I got the #EmberStack 🍔which is a Smashed Patty with Pastrami, Smoked Mozzarella, and caramelized 🧅 , arugula, pickles and garlic 🧄 aioli. We also got the #TheSmokewood A cheesesteak with a blend of Pastrami and ribeye 🥩, topped with smoked 💨mozzarella, crispy fried onions 🧅 , and ranch. The perfect side to go with these #Smashterpieces is Lore Tots, Crispy tater tots topped with melted cheese 🧀 and smash patty, sprinkled with crispy onions 🧅 , fable sauce, and fresh herbs. Fable & Flame is a shining example of how fast casual dining should be. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The menu was creative and diverse, offering a fantastic selection of flavorful dishes. They even had a vegan/vegetarian option! I opted for their Phoenix sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful.

What truly sets Fable & Flame apart is the incredible value. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food you receive. To top it all off, the service was friendly and efficient. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to hand me my to go order when I was taking a work call outside.

Holy cow! We had 4 people and tried the Hearthstone, Truffle tale, Dragons breath, Smokewood and for extra fries and onion rings, we didn’t realize that they come with fries so we have lots of leftovers. They were all delicious but the smokewood and dragons breath were my favorite. They were juicy and nicely seasoned, not dry like some we have had at other places. The portions were generous. I ate my entire sandwich and was stuffed (I couldn’t stop myself- it was that good) I would definitely order here again!!

They need to work out the bugs still with ordering- one sandwich wasn’t made when we got there 35 min later (as requested) and the boxes weren’t labeled so we had to do a little guess work to figure out which sandwich was which. Still overall a really...
