Herbiery Taproom — Restaurant in Madison

A very cool vibe inside, but the beverages unfortunately do not live up to the hype. I'm unsure if it's just the recipes and ingredients they've chosen to use, or if it's the lack of hops, but the flavors were very underwhelming. The beers are reminiscent of a krombacher/la croix hybrid and leave a lot to be desired.

They had 8 or so choices on tap, and the two that we tried barely had any flavor to them. A beautiful, small, local taproom with hop-free beers and a decent mocktail selection. The hop-free experience is so refreshing as most of the local WI breweries are making my triple+++ IPAs it’s nice to have additional flavors pull through. The staff are always friendly and helpful and let you try samples before ordering and they have a variety of sizes to choose from with decent prices.
