Long story short: Meal not worth the $10 price tag, go to Wendy’s. Bare minimum customer service, below average time, and food that is mid at best. Don’t come here expecting your food to be fresh.
I had never heard of Krystal until tonight. I was looking for food after getting into town late, and it seemed like a good choice. I should have just gone to Wendy’s.
First off, when I pulled up to the speaker a woman answered somewhat quiet. Once I gave my order, a man came over the intercom very loud. I mean borderline too loud. Does the whole street need to know my order? The order was, to me, very simple. The two chiks combo with no pickles. To put it simple, it is two chicken sandwiches, fries, and a drink.
Once I pay at the window, I am asked to pull forward and they would walk the food out. I thought it was a touch strange, considering I was the only customer there, but I complied. So tell me why after a somewhat considerable wait (don’t shoot me for not keeping a stopwatch in the drive thru) I get my food, and as I drive off reach in to grab a fry, and it is barely warm. How can the food already be cold. I move on, not wanting to wait any longer to get to my hotel. Once I get inside my hotel room to eat, I pull out the sandwich to find it has pickles. While I did take them off and eat the sandwich, it wasn’t what I wanted to do. If they had been busy I would understand. But I was the only person there.
I wanted to like this restaurant, but I doubt I’ll be returning. If this is your favorite, all power to you, but Wendy’s will treat me better, serve me better, and has better food, all for a lower price. And that’s saying something because Wendy’s isn’t even all...
Read moreCan't answer any of these survey questions they want me to answer because I couldn't even order or eat because just like the other 3 Krystal restaurants I've stopped at the last few months because there signs on doors says short handed staff so dining room closed well I drive a truck Can't go through drive threw but wife stopped at a Krystal on way home they told her it would be about 30 minutes wait on food so she just left that what I've been doing ever time I want to stop Can't go through drive threw they got to be loosing alot of business how hard could it be to open dining room all the other fast food places are saying there short handed to but they are opening there dining rooms but if corporate wants to keep loosing business guess what's going to happen..guess we stop eating at Krystal...can't wash your hands if doors are locked why is Krystal only one still using excuse don't have enough help to open dining room what's difference between drive threw and dining room really even before covid year's ago nobody likes sitting in drive threw lines and they always were short staffed that didn't make them shut dining...

I kid you not the drive through order taker/cashier Yelled “could you hold on” as soon as we pulled up in an obviously irritated voice…it should be noted they were not busy AT ALL….and then said go ahead and when we asked what the 15.99 special was on the window she said I don’t know you might have to read the menu (it wa not on the regular menu-is why we asked. )We let her know that and she got mad and said well I don’t know this is my second day being in the register… it felt like we the customer was supposed to know that a Krystal’s employee didn’t know the specials or menu…
We proceeded to give her the order and she said “hold on, I ain’t no computer/robot” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he was just asking her to remove the mayo on two of the chicks ordered
I know it’s NYE but sheesh if she didn’t want to be there she should have called in 🤣
Please get people with tact and guest service experience.
I would have pulled off if I were driving but my spouse insisted on getting the Krystal burgers… food was good...
